Review: Simple but lots of fun! 🥔 - Great, simple game that’s fun for the whole family. It usually comes out when we have visitors or are having a BBQ. You have to keep passing the potato before it explodes, and nobody wants to be holding it when it does! 😂 We did find it a little quiet at first, especially outside, which is unusual for a toy like this. Luckily we discovered it has two volume settings, so you can turn it up. It’s not a particularly long game, but it’s a really fun way to practise throwing and catching. It’s durable as ours has been lobbed around everywhere and still works perfectly. After some “stillness”, the potato goes to sleep which preserves its battery without having to take the box out to turn it on/off.
Review: It is okay now. - Now it is okay. The first one had a fault very low volume and kids did not hear at all. Sent back and got the new one and everything works fine. Kids just love it.

**Q: My potato only has about 10 phrases. Is there something I have to turn on inside to get all of the phrases?**
A: It's suppose to have 40 or more phases.  You have to tap or shake it and that's suppose to get it talking.  If that doesn't work I woukd return it because up have a defective potato.

**Q: Does the potato game talk?**
A: Yes!  The potato has over 30 phrases -- it will respond with different phrases when you tap it or shake it.  Toss the potato in the air and that will start the game.

**Q: My potato only has about 10 phrases. Is there something I have to turn on inside to get all of the phrases?**
A: Ummm. I had to keep hitting it and Tossing it for 15 min. until I started hearing different phrases. I kept doing it ,more &more phrases would come. I took some time though.

**Q: How do you install batteries?**
A: In the back middle section is a velcro opening with a battery pack.

Honestly one of the best games I've bought for my son; played with, laughed at, held his attention and it's definitely helping him to work on a 'softer throw' and I'm not so worried about the contents of my living room ending up smashed or broken. Very easy to use, it talks to you and gives instructions of how to use so even my son who is just coming up to 3 could work it out. Very fun and would recommend to anyone with a child who has a strong right arm and has a tenancy to throw things at your face. Hurts far less than other objects - hard wooden balls, action toys, educational bricks, etc.
