Need Heat Upstairs - Perfect Solution
No matter how much I played with and adjusted the ducts, we simply could not get enough cool air to the second floor rooms in our house. I reasoned that there must products to assist with process. When I found these, they seemed to be exactly what I needed. I ordered three units. They work perfectly. I have ordered three more so, we have one for each bedroom. By adjusting the fan speed and triggering temp of air coming from the register, we will be able to at last have even distribution of AC throughout the house. In combination with a Nest Thermostat and a sensor place upstairs with the desired temp setting we finally have system is comfortable. Each unit operates independently, so in each bedroom the amount of fan boost can be set to the desired level. I am more than pleased. To spend thousands on an AC unit, to make deliver cool air where it is desired for less than $400 (6 X $54) more is a bargain. Installation is quick and easy. The instructions are clear. The fan noise is low, but increases as the fan speed selection is increased. The preset of level 6 seems about right for our situation and I cannot hear it. My wife who hears better than I can does, but is a low level and a gentle non-irritating whir. I am pleased!

Love remote control option
Last summer was a sweltering nightmare in my home, with my living room turning into a makeshift sauna. Determined not to relive that experience, I invested in an Airbrick booster fan. Installation was a breeze, and the difference was night and day. Not only did it distribute the air more evenly, making the room instantly more comfortable, but its silent operation meant it could work its magic without interrupting daily life. Even my kid, who wakes up at the slightest noise, sleeps through its hum. The remote control feature was a cherry on top, allowing me to adjust settings on the fly without missing a beat of my favorite series. It's a straightforward device, but the comfort it has brought into my home is immeasurable. If you're dreading the upcoming heat as I was, this booster fan might just be your summer salvation.

Great register booster that works as advertised
I was skeptical about the booster's ability to help cool my room, but it does keep the room cooler. Please note that you must have some air flow at the register from the HVAC unit in order for it to work. The fans are quiet at low speed and can be a little loud at higher speeds. The unit is nicely designed and is a good quality. My remote control did not work upon arrival. I contacted the Airbrick support team and they are sending me a new one. I rated this a 4 due to one issue with the functionality: I would like the menu to display only the fan speed and lockout other functions. This would prevent children from changing the trigger settings.

Works great.
Bought this specifically for adding more cool air into my upstairs bedroom. Can be used to help.boost heat but we sleep in cold rooms at night. Master bedroom only has one register another in closet but doesnt help much. The primary register blows cool air but room always seems to not be as cool as it should. I've tried closing a few register vents on 1st floor to push extra air up, it helped some but wanted more. Found this device. I set the cold setting on the airbrick to 64, my ac thermostat is anywhere from 70 to 68. The airbrick displays a real temp as well but the setting you choose ,(mines at 64) , will monitor the air in vent. As soon as ac kicks on the airbrick temperature drops and once hits 64 the fan turns on. This thing works good I have fan set at speed 6 or 7. I have definitely noticed the room gets cooler faster and stays cold longer so it def works. Best part is once my ac stops the air inside the register ac ducts is still cold so the fan keeps blowing basically sucking out the extra cold air that's trapped inside and blows it into the room. This thing works in my opinion cools room faster and utilizes all cold air available. Once the temp goes above 64 the brick shuts off but not long after the ac turns on so it's definitely an advantage to use to cool a bedroom.

Awesome Fan, My Room's finally comfortable!
Man, where do I even start with this register booster fan? This little gadget has been a total game-changer for my place! You know how some homes just have that one room that's never quite the right temperature? Well, that was my living room. In the winter, it was like stepping into the Arctic, and in the summer, forget about it โ you could practically fry an egg on the coffee table. So, I did some digging and stumbled upon this register booster fan. Installation? A breeze โ just popped it into the floor register. Now, let me tell you, this fan isn't just functional; it's also got style. I was torn between getting a brown airbrick or white, but I went with white. Best decision ever! It blends seamlessly with my floor, looking like it was made for my house. The difference it's made is incredible. My living room is finally comfortable. I'm no longer piling on blankets in the winter. Iโll see how it will go in summer, hopefully the same. This fan has seriously improved my quality of life at home. If you're on the fence about getting one, just go for it. You won't regret it. From someone who's experienced the struggle of uneven home heating and cooling, this fan is a lifesaver. Two thumbs up, five stars, however, you want to rate it โ this fan deserves it all!

It works but it doesn't work?
The vent does function as designed but it did not make a difference in the room temperaure for me. It only moves existing air it does not of cousre create air. To give you an example if you turn on an oscillating fan and block the intake airflow it will not blow air out of the front regardless how fast the blades are turning. So basically if you have a tightly sealed duct work it cannot create any addiional air flow other then what the HVAC system is producing. However If your system is not well sealed it should create additional air flow and help air movement. It will pull the air from the areas of the duct work that is not sealed.

Warmly recommended!
Recently, I bought a register booster fan after hearing from friends how much it helped with their home's cold spots. It's my first booster fan, and I must say, it's impressively quiet. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it's so silent that it's easy to forget it's even on, especially when I'm focused on my work. The feature that stands out is the remote control. Just the other night, I was watching my favorite show and could adjust the fan settings without having to pause or get up. The way it circulates air is also remarkable. Instead of a one-way blast, it distributes air evenly throughout the room, eliminating all the chilly corners. This purchase has really improved my daily life, turning my living room into a cozy retreat. I hope so it will be the same experience in summer when it helps to cool down my space. For anyone thinking about getting a register booster fan, I can't recommend this model enough. It's a simple addition, but the comfort it brings to my home is undeniable.

Works well!!! Solid purchase!
Using it for couple of days. This device works wonders in moving air from the vent. Weโve been testing out the speeds and found that speed 7 is the real sweet spot - a perfect balance between strong airflow and quiet operation. That being said, if you're someone who appreciates a bit of background "white noise", speed 10 might just be your jam. My husband took a video to show the difference between speeds, but for some reason, it sounds much louder in the recording than in real life. Maybe it's due to the phone's microphone or something. The idea of the reversible cable is brilliant. We plan on moving the fan between rooms, and having that flexibility with the outlets is such a neat touch. However, if I'm being honest, a wireless version would be the icing on the cake. I hope my first impressions hold up over time. As of now, this feels like a great investment.

Gets the job done
This Airbrick fan blended into the wall decor just fine. Once I completed the quick setup, it functioned well. The most challenging part for me was managing the cables, and it took some time to determine the ideal placement, but I eventually resolved it. While I didn't measure the precise temperature difference in the room before and after installation, I can confidently say that there is a noticeable improvement in warmth (it's late fall now).

Works great.
We have a vent extended father away due to a reno and this is just what it needs for a quiet boost. The bedroom is now way more comfortable and we can't wait until summer to see how it improves the cold air.

Return was no problem
Couldn't get it to make a difference. Don't mean it won't work for someone else. Return was no problem
