Do you have raccoons?
I REALLY like this feeder! It is the first auto feeder I have purchased. We live in the country and found a momma cat and 4 kittens on our front porch recently. She was pretty frail, so we started putting food out for her and the kittens and it was well received. We were going to be traveling for a week, so I went looking for a feeder. I consciously had raccoons on the brain when I was shopping. I was looking for one with a shape that I could have a shot at somehow securing. This one has a nice flat top and I envisioned being able to place something heavy'ish on it. I was right. I imagined that I would have a decent chance of beating the raccoons. I was wrong. The first night, I placed a small weight on it to test the waters. Came out the next morning and found the feeder about 3 feet from where I had placed it. It was on its side and in several pieces (not broke, just disassembled... much of the product is held together by gravity). The next night, I placed a 16x8x2 inch concrete patio paver on top of it. It weighed in at just over 16.5 pounds. The feeder certainly wasn't designed with this in mind, but it held up like a champ. The feeder was up against a wall, so the front and two sides were exposed. My greatest regret was that I placed all of this directly under my security camera, out of its line of sight. I came out the next morning and again found it laid over and in pieces with the patio stone on the ground where the feeder previously was. The security footage showed a raccoon come up and was evidently there for 15-20 mins then left. A little later it came back with a friend to finish the job. We were leaving that day so I hung my head in defeat and let the neighbor take care of the cats. I'm certain that I can up with a better challenge for the raccoons, but I haven't tried yet. To this feeder's credit though, it took a beating those two nights and survived with only a few scuffs on the face where they were evidently dragging it across the porch. Still works perfectly. Also to the feeder's credit, it has a VERY flexible feeding schedule which was easy to set up. My original plan was to feed 3 or 4 times during the day and try to limit what food was left in the bowls overnight to maybe limit what was attracted to it. That attraction portion of that sentence was just dumb thinking on my part. The scheduling part worked perfect though. As I was putting it together the first time (super easy) I actually caught myself thinking "oh, that's a smart way to design that..." I don't do that often. It really is a neat design overall. I can vouch that comes apart and cleans very easy if you find it covered in racoon drool. I was able to plug it in, but it has a nice battery backup for peace of mind. In came into this purchase knowing that I was going to be asking something of it that in no way it was advertised to do. It met every expectation, was easy to use, holds a ton of food, is easy to clean and is very robust. 5 stars from me.

Great automatic cat feeder
This is a great product! It came faster than expected and was packed well. The materials are nice and not cheap looking. The set up was easy, programming similar to setting times on an oven clock. It works just like advertised. Got it for a weekend away but the kitties like it so much I have just kept it running

Wonderful product and customer service experience
I ordered 2 of these because we were going on vacation and it was easier for our pet sitter to have auto feeders since we have multiple cats. It was very easy to set up. However, one of them had an issue with keeping the correct time so it wouldn’t dispense the food properly. I was in a bind since we were going out of town in just a couple days but I contacted Oneisall directly to see if we could troubleshoot over the phone since I didn’t think there was enough time to receive a new one. Vicky answered the phone, understood my situation, opened a ticket and assured me I would hear from someone in the warranty department soon. Cassie emailed me within hours and ended up sending me a new unit the next day so we wouldn’t be without one during our vacation. Both of the units work perfectly now and my cats are very happy to hear the food hitting the bowl throughout the day and night. Even though I had a small issue, I had a very satisfied experience with the company’s customer service and am thankful they were sympathetic and addressed it to timely and professionally. I definitely recommend the dispenser!

*almost* cat proof but otherwise purrfect
*UPDATE* Alright so I’ve had both versions of this automatic feeder and think I can finally give a comprehensive and accurate review. First and foremost, overall, I cannot recommend this feeder enough. There’s a few things to be mindful of, but overall it’s very easy to schedule and automate. Both systems are great but both have their flaws and these should be considered when deciding which one to purchase. I originally purchased this because I have a cat that has a certified food addiction so if he sees you so much as enter the same room as his food bowl he will scream until the cows come home. In order to save my sanity I was advised by my vet to move the focus off of people feeding him his dry food and have an automatic feeder instead to curb the frantic behavior and this has drastically helped. He learned the routine and this has made both his and my life less stressful. That in itself has made this product worth it! However, it is not without flaws. The main thing you should consider, if you have a smart cat like mine, you will definitely NEED to get a little crafty, because my little food obsessed mastermind (the grey cat) knows that if he knocks the feeder over, the food will spill out the top and ALL over the floor. It is too heavy when it is completely full but when it’s half empty it’s very easy for him to topple. After 3 or 4 attempts he became a pro and started knocking it over whenever it was low enough which gets expensive when you have a cat on a prescription diet lol. HOWEVER, this is a very easy fix! I got two child locks and super glued them to the top and sides. Boom. Kitty can still knock it over all he wants but no food comes out. After 2 or 3 months he finally stopped and it has not been an issue since. As long as you’re prepared for this, it’s a pretty easy fix. Unless you screw it to the wall or your cat gives up, be prepared to pick it back up and possibly reset the time, but even with how rough my cat is it still works, no food has been spilled since, and overall I am so much happier with this machine than the other auto feeders I’ve had in the past. I got about two years of use out of it and honestly it would probably have continued strong but my house flooded and it was faulty after that and I needed to replace it. When I did, I upgraded to the WiFi enabled version. This has been a nice upgrade however this also has some caveats. The big bonus is I can turn it on/off while I’m away. For a lot of people this won’t be an issue but I have a dog that will eat the cat’s food before them if it goes off while I’m not home. Having that option could save me from rushing home to avoid that, whereas before I had to remember to unplug it before I leave if I planes on staying past the scheduled feeding or accept my dog would eat it all. The downside to the WiFi enabled one? At least with mine, the scheduled PM feeding never seems to go off. 7:00 comes around and the record says it goes off but it definitely doesn’t which is annoying. Overall I very much like the machine though so I placed a small motion camera that I had lying around above it and that alerts me whenever it goes off, so if it doesn’t I can manually enter it myself via the app which is very reliable. Again, a bit of a pain but it solves my problem and that in itself is worth it to me despite some inconvenience. And, like I mentioned this is likely just my individual feeder being faulty and is probably not an issue for all of them. Aside from these things considered, I really have no complaints. It’s quick to setup, well crafted for the price, and extremely easy to clean. It’s loud so the cats can hear it from other rooms but not so outrageous that it’s annoying, and you can add little recordings so it says something like “dinner time!” and have a laugh while your cats go crazy with excitement. Despite its flaws I genuinely love this purchase and hope to have this for years to come.

Easy to operate.. good for two cats home

This is a game changer! No longer are my cats sitting on my head at 5am, begging to be fed - this dispenses their food at a set time, twice a day (can be more times if you wish). Once built, it was easy to programme and set up. I thoroughly recommend this product.

Have had this for almost a year Still works Great! We plug it into the wall and don't use the battery function. All 3 of my cats love this and saves us the time of having to fill food bowls all the time. The settings are easy to use. Holds a full bag of cat food inside. Not super loud either. I really like how you can set a schedule. That stays consistent. While also being able to add more or less if needed. Ideal for 2 or more cats!
