Good fertiliser, it looked like it made a difference. A little smelly but to be expected. Good value for money.

Excellent product. I bought this to rejuvenate a cherry laurel hedge that was struggling to establish due to some deficiencies in the soil. I followed the instructions (specifically sprinkling the granules at root level) and within a few weeks, the hedge was producing lush, green foliage. Very satisfied and will buy again.

Good compost and good price. Although it is peat free it looks, feels & smells like proper, old fashioned compost. Even better, the small plants love it ! I'd thoroughly recomend this as a useful compost for seedlings, I used to try just sieving normal multi purpose but once I tried this no going back. It may seem like an unnecessary purchase but it was worth trying this.

I think most gardeners are familiar with Growmore, a cheap industrially produced inorganic general fertiliser used for many years on gardens and in farming. My veg garden is organic, so I don't use it there, what I do use it for is to pre-feed the topsoil before laying turf or sowing lawn seed. It does help the lawn to get off to a good start. This is a finer granule than many of the brands of Growmore that I have used in the past, which means a more even distribution. I like to use 50 to 60 gram per square metre for pre-feeding lawns, and since the granules are so small I thought I should try it in my Scotts Evengreen Drop Spreader. After a bit of experimenting I managed to achieve about 55 gram per square metre at setting 2 1/4. Although I would strongly recommend that anyone using a drop spreader should check the amount dropped as it can vary a bit, but very handy for large areas.

Easily applied and the results seem positive

Excellent product. It is very fine grain and I decant it into smaller plastic containers. I walk around the garden and throw a handful at a time under the base of the plants and then I water the whole garden. I like the fact that it vanishes into the earth compared to the larger granule fertilizers that never dissolve.
