If you have a baby that wakes throughout the night you need this!
A friend of mine bought one and said I should get one. I thought it was overkill getting something like this and had a basic in crib mobile that baby could turn on herself. Eventually she was up for hours at a time in the middle of the night turning the mobile on herself and playing in her crib instead of sleeping. We decided we needed something different so I decided to try this. WOW, this is NICE! You can turn it on from your phone and there are so many different settings. Now if my little one starts crying but is not completely awake, I can turn this on and she will go back to sleep without me needing to get out from bed. This was so awesome that I later bought one for a friend who had twins as a baby gift! The only thing that I do not like about this is that you can only connect one phone at a time to it and if you and your significant other have connected to it and have your wifi on it's like Russian Roulette whose phone is going to be connected to it when you open the app up. So at night one of us has to turn our bluetooth off on our phones.

Awesome features but terrible connection problems
UPDATE 2: Adding starts back because when I got a better phone (updated from Moto G5 to Pixel 2) I didn't have the connectivity issues anymore.UPDATE: it pains me to write this update because I was so excited about getting this soother and being able to control it with my phone. Every single time you open the app it has to reconnect and it takes a long time, it also won't connect unless you're right beside the device. All of the features and customizations are really neat but without being able to use the app this machine is useless to us.We just got our soother today and I'm so in love! I love how customizable it is and that it also has a nightlight setting for those middle of the night nursing sessions. And most importantly it can be controlled from your phone 👐. I've tried the app and so far it works seamlessly. It's also a major plus for us that it plugs in and is not battery operated. I will update if anything changes.

Great device at a good price
We love this nightlight/soother/white noise machine. So nice to be able to adjust out of the room or by the tap buttons at the base. I prefer the fine tuned adjustments of the app but if my phone isn’t handy I can make do with the buttons. Great light and sound options. Never had a problem connecting or with it turning off unless I had it on a timer, which means it worked correctly! I preferred this over the hatch and the skip hop owlet soother.

No batteries needed!
Great baby soother for a great price. I have a music maker for my older son and I constantly have to replace batteries. This baby soother plugs into the outlet so there is no need for batteries. I purchased this for my 6 month old and both of the kids enjoy it. You can display different colors and shapes on the wall and ceiling and there are different sound/music settings. I would purchase this again and have already recommended it to friends.

Overall very happy. Wish FP had thought of a couple things though. There are three types of light features, and a few music/noise options. Also timers for lights/music. Awesome, but I wish the timers were more individual. Now you can do all lights on a timer where I wish you could have one light shut down but leave the projection on all night. Or the nightlight.. just would be nice to have the options.Otherwise, it’s nice. The projections allow customization of colors, brightness, speed for change. My baby enjoys looking at it, we listen to the lullabies at bedtime.

Love this soother
Love this soother, its been a life safer with my 11mo old. The first night we used it, he was wired at bedtime. I turned it on, he watched the star projection for a few minutes with the settling music playing, then laid down and was out like a light. It's worked better than anything else we have tried!

Great concept, poor execution
The concept/idea is great and I hope other companies follow suit with better versions as Fisher Price's execution is sub-par.First of all, there are no protruding buttons. To select the different settings, you select by pressing on the illuminated areas which are hard to press, albeit extremely sensitive once it reacts to your touch. It makes absolutely no sense.Do you want to lower the volume without the app? Please use the one volume button to cycle through the volume to the loudest setting to off and then quiet. Quite startling to an infant. Whose bright idea was that? Also, as others have complained, the accompanying app, the reason for a "smart device", doesn't work very well either. Mainly connectivity and range issues but also crashing and freezing. But even worse than that, I write this as we lay awake having been suddenly awoken by the device having booted itself up once again in the middle of the night. Not only does it do that but it rapidly cycles through songs, faster than what it is supposed to. And the only way to stop it is to unplug the device. This is the third night this has happened. I can work around and tolerate a lot of quirks but this seals the deal: messing with my sleep. Not sure if we received a bad device but it's going in the trash as it's not even worth the hassle of refunding or replacing.

I lovvvvvve this!!! Being able to adjust it by your phone is such a handy feature. Only down side is I can’t seem to make all the lights go out, we try to go for a black room and there is always light coming from it so we have a blanket over it. Still would totally reccomend!
