I love this!! Absolutely huge would recommend to fix to the floor as does tip due to weight but prefect waterproof solar lights making our garden look classy at night really east to set up too.

Pins that hold the parasol on the arm broke on erecting, managed to do some DIY on it and get it to work only to face another issue..... It's Too heavy on the one side so the slightest breeze blows it over even when using concrete patio holder the plastic sleeve that holds the arm up looks like it's ready to snap already. Contacted customer services and it's going back don't waste your money

Great item, DO NOT BUY THE FLAT WEIGHTS FOR THE BASE!!!!!!! They do NOT hold the parasol!!!! I bought 2, 40 litre water weight bags, they work so much better. With the two, the weight is distributed further up the pole and grounds the parasol nicely. The flat weights allow it to tip over in a breeze.

Assembly needed 2 people cause I’m only little but was easy enough, good value for money, it’s massive so protection from the sun is great and it looks good but needed 2 of the big sandbags to keep it grounded, not sturdy enough without them

Bought this just over a year ago and it is now unusable due to the plastic sleeve connecting the pole and the arm splitting. It only fits on one way. In addition, the pole itself has bent in the wind. Of course it's out of warranty and therefore I need to pay for another one.

This is a really nice parasol. It is easy to assemble and the led lights with are inset within the spokes and are a welcome addition. Unfortunately the parasol is let down by a single component. That is the sliding sleeve (made of plastic) which locks the parasol arm in position when the parasol is in use. This component holds the full weight of the parasol and being so flimsy has split along its entire length. This sleeve needs to be made of much stronger plastic or forged aluminium. I was able to make a temporary repair using two jubilee clips holding the sleeve together until I either print a replacement or forge one from aluminium. This is the only reason I given three sstars.I really think the manufacturer needs to upgrade this component.

I was so excited to open this as it was a birthday gift but unfortunately that is where the excitement ended. It is extremely difficult to assemble - actually gave me a huge blood blister. Then there is the quality. Cheap plastic components. Plastic sleeve that stops the arm bending down was immediately under stress and would snap very soon. Then the rope used to crank it up actually snapped inside on first use. It also topples over easily. We filled the suggested weight bag that was sold alongside it with sand and still had to put a heavy concrete block on it to stop it toppling over. I dread to think what would happen if a slight zephyr of a breeze stirred in the garden! The whole thing was a disaster and the snapping rope that is used to open the thing was the last straw. I am bruised, beaten and defeated by this poor quality item. So, I decided to contact customer services. Well! After a fruitless attempt to contact Amazon customer service using their appalling AI system which sent me in circles repeating the same question and answer over again, I decided to try the good old fashion method of phoning them. Remember the old days when we could actually talk to a human being?! But guess what? No phone number visible in the customer service section of the app or on the website. I had to Google their phone number - found it deep down in the web - and it’s not the old free number either. On the bright side once I found that customer service number and yelled at the automated ai that I wanted to talk to a human being, I eventually was put through to an actual real person. I spoke to a very helpful person who has organised a full refund without me having to return the thing. I am grateful for this. But sad I don’t have working umbrella in the heatwave.
