The texture is really bad.
I wanted to try this because of the no carb aspect. I followed the instructions. I mixed it with some ground beef and Rao pasta sauce, and while the ground beef and pasta sauce was delicious, the fettuccine noodles fell flat for me. The texture was just awful, I couldn’t stomach it. It tasted like plastic with ground beef and sauce. I split it in two servings like the package suggested. By the end of the second serving, I was convinced I was eating plastic. Just not palatable for me in the least. They did absorb the flavor, but plastic has a very distinct taste that didn’t go away with my flavorings. Don’t recommend this product and will be throwing away the rest. A waste of my money.

Tried, but its just awful
I was hoping this would be a great alternative to pasta. This sadly looks so weird - clear. The texture is the worst. Almost like chewing hard slimy squid or really bad calamari. Almost like a rubberband - not sure my stomach would even digest it? Zero taste, zero smell. Tried it with tomato sause, tried in a beef broth tried it 3 different ways with the 3 diff sauces. The texture is the worst part trying to chew through a rubberband. Very unfortunate, maybe some will like it. Will never buy again or recommend to anyone.

These are so gross
I’m always looking for healthy food choices and willing to try new things. These noodles were recommended to me so I was excited to try them even though they were pretty pricey. I am not a picky food person and my husband will eat almost anything but either one of us could eat these. They have a consistency of squid tentacles, very rubbery and chewy and they had a very odd taste as well. Plus they are kind of a pain to prepare. I’m trying to give the other 4 packages away.

SO Disappointed
I’m doing Keto and I sometimes miss my pasta meals and pasta in casseroles. I was trying to find a keto pasta substitute. This was NOT it. It arrives in a bag of fluid to keep the plant material pasta from drying out, I guess. Then you rinse them several times, and then cook them in the pan to dry them out, then add your pasta sauce. Well, it didn’t work for me. The pasta sauce was fine, but the taste was pure blah bland, and the texture was not even close to pasta. I was disappointed. But every one is different and you might like them. May I suggest you try ONE pack -not six like I did- because they’re expensive. I ended up tossing the rest. Such a sad waste.

Couldn't stand the texture
Inedible. Awful. I feel bad saying so, because these are made by a family-owned company, but these things went straight into the trash after I tried them with marinara sauce. I prepared them exactly as instructed. They had no flavor in and of themselves - that much is true. But the texture is so horribly off-putting that I couldn't take a second bite after gagging through the first mouthful. It was like the texture I imagine an alien sea creature's tentacles would have. Like eating what your brain pictures as raw squishy octopus legs or some kind of nasty worm.

Really bad
I saw Dr. Oz talk about these noodles and was looking for something to replace regular pasta so that my family could do without the carbs. As soon as I opened the package, I knew this was going to be bad. They smelled like old fish. I rinsed them as directed hoping the fish odor would disapper but it did not. I went ahead and blanched them as directed, again hoping the fish odor would diminish. It did not. This pasta is so rubbery, it literally bounces and springs at you as you lift it into your dish. We tried it with our favorite low carb sauce recipe. But even if you can get past the fish smell, the consistency was nauseating. I took two bites and threw it away. I won't even tell my husband how much I paid for this. Totally not worth it. Wouldn't eat it even if it was free.

Too rubbery for me.
I really tried with these, but I can't stomach the texture. The flavor is fine, but it's like eating rubber bands. I will be going back to the regular low carb pasta.

Research first! Terrible GI consequences for me.
I wish I had done more research on this product before deciding to try it. Several hours after trying the fettuccine noodles I had severe abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. This continued for several hours, to the point that I considered going to the emergency room. But around that time I was able to go the bathroom and without getting too graphic, I'll just say that they mean it when they say you cannot digest these noodles. They will come out just like they go in. Not a fun experience. This relieved at least some of the discomfort, but I still had GI issues the next morning and remainder of that day. Needless to say I will not be eating the rest of the noodles. After doing more research, I have found that this experience is typical for many people and at least one death has occurred from eating shirataki noodles, due to intestinal blockage. So my advice is to be very careful with this product.
