Almost Indestructible!
We have bought many different types of balls (Soccer balls, Tether balls and many more...) over the past couple years, but these seem to be the favorite outdoor toy of our two Boxers. They are completely punctured within minutes but, they never collapse and still last for a good six months. It helps the longevity of the Jolly Ball to hang it in a tree or from a pole, as they can't hold it down and chew it to pieces. As you can see from the video, they love to play Tug-of War and you can see how much abuse this ball can take. Yes, The handle can be chewed off fairly easily (Maybe the manufacturer can make the handle solid)?! I just wired a piece of wood inside until this one is torn apart, but it has lasted 20 times longer than anything else I have tried with these two dogs. I have a back-up Jolly Ball ready to go. The prices on Amazon were a lot cheaper than in any Pet Retail store. The 10 inch Jolly Ball seems to be the right size for my 80 pound boxers that love to chew and its soft, it doesn't hurt their mouth like other hard plastic indestructible balls do. Great price, therefore I stocked up!! I gave it 5 stars even though the handle was chewed off, just because it has lasted so much longer than anything else we have tried!

one of the BEST dog toys for high-drive & playful dogs
saw the horse jolly ball recommended for energetic dogs all over social media and decided to try it out and surprisingly it's the longest lasting toy my dog has had yet! i have a large bull terrier mix breed who has the most energy and goofiness in any animal i've ever meet AND she usually will chew through or destroy the average toy in <30 minutes (we've timed it!). This ball, the purple jolly ball with the handle, has lasted about a month and a half now and my dog is still playing with it as I write. The whole ball is still intact and inflated, and although there are many teeth marks all over the ball, it remains completely whole in one piece, integrity intact. It's more indestructible than an unfortunate wooden table and electrical cord my dog chewed through! She loves to run around and play with it just herself as well as bringing it to us to throw for her. There's probably a million different ways to play with this ball for a dog. One of the few toys that my dog remains interested in ANd lasts in one piece past a few days. 10/10, highly recommend especially if you have a similar high-drive, tough chewer dog like I.

My 70-lb miniature canine "pony" loves his horse balls
I am no chemist and do not know what secret ingredient the manufacturer puts in these balls but whenever my dog grabs it by the handle, he turns into a miniature horse. He runs around prancing like Mick Jagger, bucking like a Bronco and shaking it like a possum. I swear they must put some horse-nip in the rubber material. That is at least my conspiracy theory for the week. The handle itself is very sturdy but I wish I could say the same about the rest of the ball. The walls of the sphere (fancy word for a ball) are pretty thin and do not last more than a few weeks. They get chewed through faster than we expect and then we gotta buy a new ball again. We think we can teach our dog a lesson by giving him a timeout and leaving him with his deflated ball as punishment. But it usually blows up in our faces instead when he starts chewing on the rubber and ends up with only half a ball within another week or two. At which point we break down, give in and buy him a new ball, like all whipped parents. But we claim it is for "safety" so that he does not accidentally swallow any of the rubber pieces he rips off the ball viciously as if he's skinning a squirrel or plucking the neighbor's rooster. (don't ask) So if I could ask one thing of the manufacturer: please consider making tougher ballz for tougher dogs. I realize these are "technically" intended for horses but c'mon, you know very well how badly your "horse balls" are mis-used and mis-treated. You cannot claim ignorance on this one. So be the bigger man and manufacture tougher ballz for our tougher dogs. I don't care if you tested your product on animals. But I'd have to surmise y'all used only Yorkies or some other Chihuahua-like breed. Please make the ballz for real dogs. If you need a test subject, I volunteer our miniature "horse". He will gladly chew your ballz into oblivion. And your Chihuahuas too. He loves Mexican food for breakfast. LMK if interested in my testing offer. Till next time ...

Not Scented! Not the same anymore!
First, let me say we have been buying Jolly Balls for 7 years! My boxer absolutely LOVES the scented balls. Lately the scented ones are so hard to get. My boxer will play with jolly balls and make all kinds of funny noises and not let anyone by them. I bought the peppermint one for his 7th birthday. He had one before and it truly smelled peppermint and it was more pink than red. This ball arrived a bright red and no scent. I usually have to hide the boxes with new scented balls at a neighbors house because he can smell them! This one arrived on the porch, he walked passed it. I knew something was off. I put it in my garage and he had no clue. On his birthday we opened it and no scent. I was disappointed but am I going to take it away from him? No way! Now three days later, a ball made for horses is broken by a 63 pound Boxer? Jolly Ball has been a disappointment these last few years. It’s so hard to find the scented balls which my boy loves. I wish I didn’t throw out perfectly good balls because the new ones are not the same quality and not scented. He once had a banana scented ball. His favorite color is green so I often ordered the green apple scented ones. Hard to come by now. And ordering from independent sellers is a nightmare. Often the listing says scented but you don’t get scented or even the color you ordered. Hang on to those jolly balls your dog loves. I just loved seeing my dog get new ones and being so happy. Wish I didn’t get rid of them. So now the handle is broke and I have to be the creep to take this new ball away from a happy dog. And I currently have other jolly balls just like this with the handle made for horses that are not broken. Such a disappointment! I hope another company comes along with similar products or Jolly Ball improves and gets more stock. Watching my dog with a new scented Jolly Ball in the past years has given this dog mom such pleasure and watching my boy happy warms my heart! Not Scented! Not Sturdy for a dog let alone a horse!

Jolly ball
Not as strong as I thought. My Belgian Malinois destroyed in minutes. It's ok though. He loves them. As long as he is happy. A non destructive dog would get better use. Wish the they were made stronger.

Poor quality
The quality is rather poor, especialy for such a high price. 5 minutes into playing, the handle was already bitten to pieces. However, my dobermann loves it. Good toy, but not for heavy chewers.
