Great product sturdy

I bought this wooden abacus for my daughter when she was having difficulty with basic math at school, and it turned out to be one of the best educational tools we've used. Instead of feeling like homework, it made learning numbers and simple addition much more fun and interactive. The colorful beads move smoothly, and the wooden frame feels sturdy and well made. It's the perfect size for little hands, and my daughter enjoyed practicing with it every day. Over time, I noticed that she became more confident with counting and simple math problems. My niece unboxed this item as if it was Christmas morning, she is so excited to begin completing math problems with her beautifully made abacus. There was a bit of a chemical smell upon opening the box but that could be many different things, i.e. the treatment of the wood, the fruity pieces, the plastic wrapped/inserted around the abacus to prevent scuffing during transit - packaging was nicely done by the way!, etc. It wasn’t overpowering, just catches you off guard. I don’t imagine this to be an issue after airing out overnight. The fruity pieces are a very nice touch as well as the designs on the wood. I chose this product over a plastic product as I was looking for something sturdy that would stand the test of time. I purchased this item for durability purposes and to make learning something a bit confusing fun for her! The colorful fruit is a game changer - it plays off of a child’s attention span while being relatable. I imagine this will be a family heirloom. I’m very excited to begin working with her while utilizing the abacus; as her excitement over a math tool lets me know this was a great investment in her education. Now it’s time to get to work!

I bought this for my 2 y/o granddaughter and we play with the fruit and count she enjoys the game

I am a speech pathologist and I use this with kids all the time! For older kids, we can use it to keep track of the number of repetitions they are doing. For my younger kids, we talk about color, what fruits they see, count together, slide the pieces across... loads of language and vocabulary opportunities. Sturdy enough for the toddlers I see who love the colors and shapes!

This abacus is adorable and a fun way to not only teach numbers but also colors, and fruits. Very durable too, it’s taken quite a number of drops and it’s still strong and sturdy.

Love it. We play math games, counting and multiplying on it. Some of the fruit stick but I imagine over time that might change as the beads wear down. Also at our house we call it “fruit salad” as in “do you want to play fruit salad” because that sounds more fun than let’s practice math for awhile.

I love reinvented educational toys! My daughter loves this. It catches her attention and she sat around playing for a good hour. As for the product - as many Battat toys, it’s very high quality. It’s not flimsy, but very sturdy. Would highly recommend for any playroom or children’s study.

Das billige, lackierte Gummibaumholz ist an den Füßen unten so unregelmäßig verarbeitet dass es bei jeder Berührung wackelt wie ein Kuhschwanz und man es so unmöglich benutzen kann. Die Plastikfrüchte sollen "theoretisch" farblich in der Mitte getrennt sein, das heißt die 5 linken Früchte sind alle etwas heller als die jeweils 5 rechten Früchte. Allerdings ist der Unterschied so gering dass man ihn nur mit einer Lupe erkennen kann, sodass dieser Farbvorteil komplett verloren geht, da hätten sie gleich alle gleichen Früchte in der gleichen Farbe machen können. Sehr schlecht! Werde es jetzt unten abschleifen damit man es wenigstens benutzen kann und dann trenne ich die Früchte in der Mitte indem ich eine farblich hervorstechende Schnur um die Stange knote.

Ma fille de 23 mois adore jouer avec ce boulier, les couleurs sont très vives et la moitié des fruits ont une teinte différente mais cela la rend plus attrayant, personnellement j'aime avoir des fruits au lieu de boules, le bois a l'air très solide, et en ce qui concerne le prix ça me semble bien car il a une bonne taille (environ 35 centimètres de hauteur) C'est un bon achat, je cherchais un joli boulier et différent des autres et ce boulier a tout ce que je cherchais, c'est un jouet classique, très pédagogique et les enfants apprendront à compter tout en s'amusant en même temps ils vont l'adorer.
