Looks good
So far so good everything in the box looks amazing nice and bubble wrapped. Iโve heard a lot of complaints on other ones that donโt come with instructions. This definitely comes with instructions. It fully explain everything you need to know. I found that very helpful.

took a while but works well
a little confusing to follow still set up- and how to arrange the tubes- but after playing around it worked well. the little pump to run cooling water is not effective- must use continuous flow from cold water but the system performed and i was impressed for a simple easy to clean 5 gal still

I like my new steam engine
I love my new still I replaced the flex lines with water lines so that I can put the worm and thumper where I want it. Worm is a little small make sure your pump is adequate I got the little 80gph pump it was not enough. so I ordered a bigger pump so that my worm water does not get too hot. Overall I am loving this little still. I have just finished my 6th run with it. very pleased.

Needs better instructions and customer service.
For the price this is a pretty decent "rig" especially for beginners. The instructions on the other hand leaves alot of guessing. I think I managed to figure everything out. This still is fairly modular IMO. It can be set up in several different ways depending on your space and preference. The seal on the thumper pot is extremely difficult to get just right and makes it virtually impossible to add any solids to help flavor your distillation. This still seems to be ideal for indoor brewing using a "hot plate", but I'm sure it will work outside with a propane burner or even over an open flame fire. This is my first still and I am mostly pleased with it. There are others that are extremely similar in size and set up but at the time this was the least expensive option. Edit. My thermometer that came with this setup stops rising at 100ยฐC. I've contacted the seller and they said I must have lose connections and to check them and see if that helped. The connections have nothing to do with placing the probe directly into water over 100ยฐC for several minutes and it stops rising at 100ยฐC. I told the seller this and have stopped hearing back from them. their first response was the day after I asked about a replacement thermometer. It's been several days since then and ive heard nothing. Lowering my star rating accordingly.

Works great if you pay atention to what your doing!
The still is well made with high quality stainless steel and easily to set up, also the thermometer comes with Celsius and Fahrenheit. have an induction plate and it works fine. A little online research and were off and running. Would recommend it!

You get what you pay for.
I've been using this "still" for a few days now and so far I'm not impressed. The pot, lid and pump are fine, the rest is cheap and mostly useless. The thermometer isn't accurate, o- rings have already failed, and had to be replaced, the "thumper" if you can call it that, is a waste of otherwise good metal. The outlet lines are cheap and not well thought out. I had to replace them as well. The condenser is small, unless you live somewhere cold. So unless you're willing to rebuild it from the ground up, save your money.

Quality components and smart design
I think this was a very good deal, and also took my time putting it together in about 30 minutes, and checked the installation manual only twice. What part goes where is fairly self explanatory from just the drawings in the well made booklet that came with it.
