Seauto (2024 New) Seal Robotic Pool Vacuum, Wall-Climbing, Automatic Pool Cleaner, Suitable for Walls and Floors of 1614 Square Feet Pool（Gray Black）

Do not buy from this Seauto, when it stops working, and it will, you will have to buy a new pool cleaner from someone else. Seauto does not answer the phone, and will not answer emails not even the chat window on their web page. I bought a Seauto crab in June 2024. It work great for the first 6 months and then it didn't work at all. It's supposed to have a 2 year warranty. I have been trying to reach Seauto for a month now, and have not received any reply whatsoever. I guess i will have to buy one somewhere else in the spring. Very disappointing.

Update- Amazon has decided not to help me recoup the money I wasted on this purchase with this company that does not honour their warranty. I am now disputing this product's price with CIBC directly, and would urge anyone reading this to avoid purchasing something like this on Amazon. They were uninterested in looking at my email chain and other evidence. I bought this product on August 25, 2023. I received it early Sept, and between then and Early July used it > 60 times before it failed. It can no longer connect to the app outside of water and just spins around when placed in my pool. Since early July I've been trying to get Seauto to send me a warranty replacement. In that time they've said I only had a 1 year warranty when I have documentation that says 2 years on machine, 1 year on battery. They asked for videos of the machine not working, but provided no way for me to send the file to them outside of me linking to a file sharing service, which likely their techs in China can't access. They continually tell me they'll be sending me a new one with a tracking number and don't provide me one. It's now Sept 10, they've missed the summer, I've had to clean the pool manually which I was hoping to avoid for close on 2 months. An absolute disappointment and honestly the way they've handled the warranty replacement makes me think this is either a company who isn't ready for the North American market, or someone that licensed a bad machine and is trying to scam as much money off people before they go bust. Either way, it deserves 0 stars, avoid like the plague. I should've bought a Dolphin, Hayward or other reputable brand. Currently Amazon is in the process of investigating and likely returning the purchase price to me.

Didn't get much use of the seauto pool cleaner. Earlier this summer the powercord stopped working with less than 2 month into our first summer of using the cleaner. Result i can’t charge it and haven’t been able to have a clean pool bottom. Customer service was receptive at first via chat and promised to send a new power cord however this has not been received and they have been unresponsive since. Tried e-mailing the company and no one answers the phone # on their website. Over $700 down the drain. In terms of the quality while it was working… it was fine, the compartment is a bit small as we get lots of debris as our pool is surrounded by trees and fallen leaves.

Had the DISTINCT DISPLEASURE of owning 2 of these units. Both failed, 1st in 16 days - fried electronics BUT 2nd unit, front drive wheel broke day 1 and electronics fried on day 2! They DO NOT honor their warranty. Full 12 months return to base but then they want you to pay freight. BUT they also want you to re-order using the excuse they need it to generate a tracking number! SCAM!!! EVERY other Co with that policy uses the original order No. Product looked so promising but is a total piece of crap.!

I bought the Seauto SE last year, it died after 7 months, full electronics failure. The company stopped responding to emails after 2 months into my support request, and rely on excuses like shipping delays. It's been 8 months, and the only product they still have on their site is a Crab. This product was a waste of money, good while it lasted, now it's just ewaste, and I have no pool cleaner. Zero hope of getting a replacement. ====== previous review ======= I got this to supplement the pump driven sweeper as my existing sweeper wasn't cleaning the water line well anymore, and the algae was getting a lot more noticeable on the walls. I also wanted an option to clean the smaller spa area that the sweeper can't get into. So after 30 days, here's my impression: Pros: - Super strong suction - Cleans the spa area quite well - Cleans the waterline like crazy - Can go beyond vertical in it's climbing - Honey badger like persona Cons: - The voice mode is super chatty, obnoxiously so, but without it, it's hard to know what mode it is in - I turn it on, and after I hear the first word, drop it in, it's talking all the way to the bottom - The app on Android is super buggy, it's unusable - Doesn't brush algae off the walls below the waterline, it just makes a beeline from the bottom to the waterline like the walls don't need cleaning - Steps are haphazardly cleaned - When you take it out of the water a lot of fine debris goes right out the back while the water is draining - If you don't turn it off right when you take it out it will remind you every 2 seconds it has a low battery - Sometimes after the battery is depleted it goes back to the place you dropped it in, other times it's in the center of the deep end in the most difficult place to reach - Cleaning it out requires some more effort because of the basket design and the large pieces of plastic that make up the basket - I hate that the charging connection requires detaching a rubber plug and connecting the charger onto pin, I would much prefer a magnetic charger that just snaps on and off Overall: it's worth it. I now run my old sweeper for a much shorter period of time to save on the electric costs of running the booster pump. I hope they fix the app, and make the things it says more brief, or replace some things with tones, like on, off, charging, charged, and low battery those can just be a tone. It can just say "normal", "walls" or "floors" to indicate which mode it is in. I imagine they can also get it to spend more time on the walls with a firmware upgrade as well. Hopefully it lasts many years.
