Perfect fit, battery life is excellent with a flexible menu to switch from music to quiet mode.

So far I am satisfied with the product. The app allows easy configuration for either playing different sounds available in library or streaming music of other applications. It has a comfortable fit (it took me 2-3 nights to get used to it though) and it is very effective in blocking external sounds. The only improvement I would like to see is the possibility of downloading actual sleep music into the device instead of having to play it from other streaming applications. If internet drops the music is immediately interrupted.

I find it really incredible that these sleepbuds have been described as the best in the market by several publications. Its problems are many, from the incredibly complicated initial setup, to connectivity issues (as described by many others), to the simple fact that they don't block out any noise (unlike the tragically discontinued Bose Sleepbuds II which blocked out a lot of noise just by the shape of their buds even though they too didn't have any Active Noise Cancelling). Worst of all, many times they either disconnect during the night (this is either a software feature of the "sleep mode" itself, in which case you really have to wonder what IQ the designers have to make it a feature to shut the noise cancelling off at some point during the night, as if the noise you use them for will have magically disappeared??) or they simply disconnect. Another incredibly dumb feature, the tap on the buds which changes their mode. Imagine what is the likelyhood that during sleep you will accidentally tap your buds and suddenly change their mode. Let me tell you from experience, very likely. How this product passed user testing I have no idea, as it clearly makes your sleeping problems WORSE. But again, the worst thing of all is that it is being hailed as the best. My goodness, in 2024 this is the best humanity can do for noise blocking sleepbuds? Wow. I rarely return products but this one I absolutely have. Don't bother, it is a complete waste of time, money, nerves, and sleep.

In terms of a small earbud you can wear lying down, all good. However so far I have had consistent problems with pairing/unpairing of buds with bluetooth.

Could be more comfortable, battery could be better specially when using Bluetooth , but still a very good value with unique features such as Bluetooth

I was absolutely gutted when my Sleepbuds died as I use them every night and can’t imagine sleeping without them. I spent ages looking around for an alternative and finally found the Soundcore by Anker Sleep A10. Let me tell you, they’re awesome, have more features, and they’re half the price! I’m not sure the battery is quite as good but they easily last the night and have an optional “intelligent auto-off” feature which turns of the audio-book/white noise when they detect you’ve gone to sleep. I also think they’re just as slim, if not slimmer, so I never notice them in my ears.

To put my experience in context I've had a lot of sleep devices that I've used every night since 2018: - Bose Sleepbuds v1.0 (brilliant comfort & sound library, warranty replacement due to battery failure) 5 PAIRS of Bose Sleepbuds v2.0 (same brilliant comfort & sound library, warranty replacements due to battery failures...) Amazfit Zenbuds (early adopter £67). Bought as a backup due to the amount of time my Bose Soundbuds were absent due to warranty replacements. Comfort & sound are okay, but the battery life is dreadful. QuietOn 1.0 (early adopter, £177). Honestly, I wore them once (briefly), couldn't sleep, like having 6 inch nails inserted into your ears - genuinely a painful experience, and active noise cancelling in a sleep device is no match (IMHO) for noise masking. AWFUL (their new ones might be better, who knows). My Soundcore A10's are as close as you'll currently get to the Bose Sleepbuds. Bose were 10/10 for comfort, Soundcore are 8.5/10 (very good) - even for side sleepers. The A10 sound library is also good - the Snoring Attenuation sound is particularly effective. My only minor complaints are it's not as loud, there is only one traditional "beep beep" alarm tone, and the ear tips aren't "Bose" quality - still perfectly good though. The A10's have the bonus of being Bluetooth headphones - but I don't use them to listen to music - so won't comment on the quality. Now I'll happily use either my "perfect" Bose Sleepbuds (sadly no longer available - I think I've used all their old stock by now...) or the Soundcore A10's - really no major/noticeable difference between the two. Time will tell if Soundcore have capable long-life batteries - hopefully being an Anker company they have the technology. Finally - these are down to £79 - so you can't go wrong. BTW - turning the A10 alarm off gives you an extra 20% battery life, and keeping the volume at 50% ish really will make the battery last longer - 10 hours is definitely possible.

The battery life is vert bad, and they will bombard you with many solutions that may work for couple of weeks until they back to you and say: sorry, the warranty passed in these couple of weeks

L’anno scorso avevo acquistato le Soundsleep, che ho reso dopo pochi giorni perchè trovavo impossibili da tenere tutta la notte. Con questo modello non ho avuto problemi; stamattina sono stata svegliata da un decespugliatore alle prime luci dell’alba, ho indossato gli auricolari e sono tornata bellamente a dormire. Di certo non hanno coperto totalmente il rumore, ma il suono che avevo scelto mi ha aiutato a riaddormentarmi. Trovo questi auricolari molto comodi, non danno fastidio anche se quando mi sono svegliata, dopo qualche ora, non li indossavo (di certo c’è che con il caldo di questi giorni mi rendo conto di muovermi molto di più mentre dormo). La batteria è durata tutto il tempo necessario, dalle altre recensioni pareva durasse pochissimo ma non ho avuto problemi.

Kurzfassung: - die Earbuds sind optimiert fürs schlafen insbesondere Seitenschläfer, dafür sind sie mMn danke passivem Noice Canceling und flexibler BT Wiedergabe sehr gut geeignet dank - als Alltagskopfhörer sind sie NICHT geeignet (Klang und Akkulaufzeit eher bescheiden). Einleitung: - Ich bin sehr geräuschempfindlich. Schlafe oft mit Oropax. Aber gerne auch mit binauralen Beats oder anderer Entspannungsmusik. Vorher hatte ich schon die Kokoon getestet (Hände weg! – zum Schlafen für mich nicht gut und Geld gibt es nur unter Klageandrohung zurück) und BT Schlafmasken (für Musik gut, aber nichts gegen Geräusche oder mit Oropax nur sehr eingeschränkte Klangqualität). Stärken: - Passive Geräuschunterdrückung – ähnlich wie Ohropax dämmen die Soundcore Sleepbuds Umgebungsgeräusche. Dafür müssen sie der Anleitung entsprechend „reingedreht“ werden. Wie auch bei Ohropax ist die Dämpfung abhängig von der Frequenz. Den Kühlschrank oder Autos höre ich bspw. fast gar nicht 😊 In meinen Augen ist das das wichtigste Feature - „Sleepmode“ – recht große Auswahl an „Schlafgeräuschen“ bspw. White Noise oder Regen. Nutze ich nicht, hat den Vorteil der Akku länder hält, da der Sound auf dem Earbud gespeichert wird - Geeignet für Seitenschläfer. Ja ich merke sie, wenn ich auf der Seite liege. Aber sie sind nicht unangenehm wie bspw. die von Soundcore oder meine Airpods - Ladecase – da die Earbuds am nächsten Morgen in der Regel leer ist, ist das Ladecase das wohl bis zu 4 mal auflädt sehr praktisch (bei meiner BT Maske habe ich es oft vergessen und mich abends geärgert) - USB-C – schön das der Standard genutzt wird Neutral: - Akkulaufzeit – für mich neutral, weil es einfach der kompakten Bauweise geschuldet ist. Ja, für die Zukunft wäre es gut, wenn ich auch 8h Musik hören könnte, aber wichtiger ist mir das ich damit gut schlafen kann. Bei mir stimmen die 6h ganz gut. Nutze oft ein 8h Stück von Spotify, das stoppt wenn die Verbindung abreißt, was meist um 6h ist. - Klang, ähnlich wie beim Akku ist es der kompakte Konstruktion geschuldet. Im Alltag verwende ich sie nur wenn keine anderen - BT Reichweite – bei mir funktioniert es gut wenn Handy im Nebenzimmer auf dem Tisch in der Mitte. Liegt es in der Ecke gibt es Probleme. - Misst Schlafqualität – nutze ich nicht, macht meine Apple Watch Negativ: - Ladecase sehr groß – während die Earbuds komakter als die Airpods daherkommen, ist das Ladecase deutlich größer. Wofür? Ein Fancy Öffnungsmechanismus zum aufschieben hätte es für mich nicht gebraucht - Links und recht sind nicht gekennzeichnet - und damit schwer zu unterscheiden. Wenn ich beim rausnehmen nicht aufpasse muss ich mittels Tap testen (unterschiedliche Befehle je Seite), welche Seite welche ist, da ich die Earbuds auch seitenverkehrt ins Ohr bekomme (auf dauer aber unbequem) Fazit: Wer auf der Suche nach Schlafköpfhörern für Seitenschläfer ist und den Preis zu zahlen, sollte hier mal testen. Die Kombination aus passiven Noise Canceling und brauchbarer Soundqualität mit flexibler Wiedergabe vom Handy ist gelungen. Wer eh auf den Rücken oder auch schläft ist hier mMn nicht optimal aufgehoben. Dann gibt es für das Geld besseren Sound und ANC.
