It’s a fine powder (a bit lighter weight than baby powder) that comes out of the pump in sort of a puff, for lack of a better word. It is not a aerosol spray. It absorbs oil quickly when applied, does not have a scent and doesn’t change the color of your hair like a lot of products (unless you use far too much probably). I have fair skin and thick, dark brown hair for reference. I use it about twice a week and my last bottle lasted at least 3 years.
