These are great 'biners and they're definitely heavy duty. Perfect for car camping, hanging items in storage, securing items to a car roof basket, and other times when you need a thick, heavy carabiner. They're too heavy to use backpacking or bike packing - stick with the aluminum ones for those trips. Good investment to secure the bulky stuff.

Heavy Duty. Very nice finish with a smooth gate and solid clip locking. However not a lightweight climbing application. These guys are heavy and solid. Just know you’ll feel them when on a string.

These clips are extremely durable and hold up to rain and sun. I use them to keep my gate clipped shut and haven't had any issues!

Probably better off buying the lighter cheaper material if you just want it for keys or something similar. Too heaving for simple things but that is not the products fault. It is well made just heavier then I expected.
