DWV/SCH40 pipe to select drainage products compatible with 3 in. SD connections such as channel drain outlets, drainage grates, and pop-up emitters. This adapter is used to connect two different pipe types. The adapter is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and makes a Hub X Hub solvent-weld connection. Meets applicable ASTM standards. For use in non-pressurized underground sewer and drainage applications; maximum working pressure of 5 psi. Review: They do what they're supposed to do - I had existing thin wall PVC pipe and wanted to attach some new schedule 40 PVC pipe (which offers more options and lower cost at Lowe's & Home Depot). These adapters did what I needed them to do.
