3M Bright Screen Privacy Filter for 14in Laptop, 16:10, BP140W1B, Plastic

Works great for a Dell Precision 5490

I expected this to be a great privacy screen since it was made by 3M, but I find that it doesn't do a great job of blocking the view of my screen when someone sits next to me on a plane. While at the same time, I feel like the screen is distracting to me. I expected more from 3M.

What made this product stand up from the rest of privacy filter is "bright". For people who have used privacy filter, the biggest complain is the filter would make the screen darker that you will have to adjust brightness to offset. I ordered the product with skepticism and still could not wait to put it on when it arrived. Boo! This is exactly the filter I have wished for! Screen is as bright as you do not have it on. Attaching was simple enough too! It is a bit more expensive than other similar product but it is well worthy.

screen protector is not flat and only comes with 2 tabs to secure on the top of the laptop bezel. lacking any support from the bottom, screen protector flares out making it hard to read the screen.

Provides very little to no privacy. My partner could see everything, albeit a little darker, sitting next to me at a sharp angle.

Passt wie der Original. beim Lenovo T14 Gen 4 Das Montage System ist okay aber könnte man schöner gestalten.

Hors de prix pour un produit qui ne fait même pas son travail. Avant on collait des supports qui permettaient de glisser le filtre, le système avec les autocollants est horrible : ils se décollent facilement et en plus la taille du filtre ne correspond pas tout à fait à la taille de l'écran (référence pourtant choisie sur le site 3M avec la référence de mon laptop !) et donc ça ne tient pas et rend l'écran illisible même pour l'utilisateur. Scandaleux, indigne de 3M et 65€ jetés à la poubelle.

Did not work with the laptop I was looking for. As I tried to mount it only 3 weeks after delivery, could not be returned anymore, as it is an "electronic" article....
