POSTFIX Long Trellis Fence Height Extension Arms 795mm - ONE Pair - NO Trellis Included!

Excellent product, easy to fit on 2 foot sturdy trellis and does a good job covered with climbing plants. Very pleased with the effect.

A strong and strudy product delivered well on time The recent galed had blown down the trellis extensions above 3 of our 6ft fence panels and the climbing plants were all torn off. There was little option but to cut back the plants and reconstruct things. Something sturdier was needed and these extension arms seemed promising if a bit on the pricey side. On the other hand, the convenience they offered in fiting and constructing something strong and effective seemed to offset the price. I ordered three pairs which arrived well within the expected delivery schedule. The first pair I fitted took only a few minutes to slide down the post channels and aside from gymnastics with slotting the extension trellis in and some left handed use of my power drill this first section was doddle to fit. I was quite impressed with the end result and how strong and secure it was. I did think it a bit of a shame that no screws were included given the price - so 4* rather then 5*. And so, on to the next two sections. Here I had problems...no reflection on the extension arms but just a warning. The folks who had replaced my old wooden posts a couple of years back had bodged things. The original wooden posts were set in huge chunks of concrete. To avoid charging me a fortune to excavate these, they had bodged things. The result being that is that some of the concrete posts are not set at the proper spacings for 6ft panels with the fence panels being really tight and slightly bowed. The extension arms were VERY reluctant to slide down and fitting these on the next two sections was a lot of work and in the end I had to cut the extension arms to a shorter length. I was still pleased with the end result. The moral here is to make sure your fence and posts are set properly to allow the product's genius simplicity to be demonstrated!

These trellis height extensions are brilliant.Galvanised steel so long lasting and so very easy to fit and install. A quick fix to add trellis to top of existing fence panels.

Good quality fence panel extentions which I used for adding 1 ft trellace fence toppers.

Bought one pair to fit a 2’ trellis on top of wooden fence panel. Brackets slotted snugly in gap between fence panel & concrete post. Trellis not as deep as bracket so will pack it with 15mm timber at some point but not urgent. Haven’t used screws as the bracket isn’t going to budge.

I wanted to raise my 6 foot fence to hide an unpleasant view!🤔

Easy to use. Excellent purchase.

Shame they were not a right and left handed so screws could all look the same and if you buy 6 foot treliss and wish to fit into concrete posts you will have to extend treliss by approximately one inch
