VINGLI 5 FT Heavy Duty Porch Swing with Cushion, 880 LBS Wooden, Rustic

This was way better than I expected. Easy to assemble and very well built. Perfect for my porch.

My seven-year-old son and I spent a few days putting this together; the instructions were easy to follow, and we’ve been using it all summer—it still looks great. The seat is waterproof, and it only suffered one mishap all season—a small stain from a barbecue drip—but that was our fault; I think a quick cleaning will have it looking as good as new. I love sitting on this swing early in the morning with a cup of coffee or reading a book late at night.

First delivery showed factory defects. Part B was cracked on both ends where the crews were placed. The seller was very accommodating and immediately sent a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement had the same defect. It is our belief that the manufacturer uses green (uncurled wood) that cracks as it dries in the box. Tge damage, though minimal is still damage. Not going to try for a third.

Good and solid

The swings were a beautiful color. The quality of the swings are not good. I ordered 2 of these benches and they both came in damaged. At least 2 boards on each bench were completely broke and many others were splintered, paint missing, wood chipped and overall quality and craftsmanship is poor. To top it all off they want to charge me to send them back. The cost for that is half of what I paid. Not a great experience.

I like it very nice

So I accidentally ordered two of these and glad I did. The first box I opened had a bunch or scratches and gouges. The one I’m keeping also had scratches and gouges, but overall for the price this porch swing looks great, and it’s really comfy. I used some woodfinish oil to try to mask the scratches. The instructions were not great. Luckily my dad is a carpenter and figured it all out, but some of the holes are drilled a little off, so you really really need to put it together a bit loosely before tightening and sort it like force some of the pieces which you need two people to do. This manufacturer needs to double check their measurements for their hole drilling templates or ensure the wood is totally dry and won’t shrink before drilling them. Not sure why they were so off. Good design just needs more quality control before shipping. Revising this review. I’ve been trying to return the more scratched up of the porch swings and having a hell of a time.

Everything came as promised, easy to put together, sturdy, beautiful, comfortable seat, all hardware in great shape, great product
