I've used this to cut quite a bit of paper and it is still as sharp as the first time I used it. The magnetic strip holds the paper in place very nicely. I prefer to cut up to 8 pieces of paper at a time, and that works fine for me. The lines on the bed are easy to read and made it very simple to cut everything to proper size. The metal base is heavy enough without being too heavy. It seems to be very durable. The handle is snug and has not loosened up with use. There is a finger guard that you can use to protect yourself. I would say the value for the price is quite good. It's a nice looking little appliance that made my life easier.

Pretty good, not as large or sturdy as the old ones but cuts decently

Very grateful for how well this paper cutter operated and how easy it was to put together! I was on crunch time trying to get cardstock cut for some games for a wedding shower and this cut through everything with ease and precision. It is also small enough to put away on a shelf until I need it again. Love this paper cutter!

ABSOLUTE JUUUNNNKKK!!!!!!! I order loads from Amazon. Yeah. I get it it. Occasionally you get something that's less than acceptable. But this thing. Literally to poorest quality item I've ever seen. Flimsy and lots of plastic. Cutting edge is like the back edge of a brick. Plastic flimsy handle that u have to assemble. Seriously? Have never seen such poor quality. The silk screening for lining up isn't even remotely accurate. The epitome of a WASTED $28. GOOD GRIEF. JUST PURE TRASH !!!

Great Cutter at a great price. Time will tell how sharp the cutter remains after normal use.

I bou7ght this to trim card stock into labels. i used one sheet at a time. here's what I found: 1. Assembly was one step. 2. Instructions were difficult to see but not understanbd. All pictuyres. 3. The blade is integral to the handle. It uses a scissor-like action, but the blade is not sharp like on more expensive units. 4. Higher contrast markings on the surface would be nice. Lines are not always easy to see, especially if you have vision issues like me. 5. On long cuts, the end of the letter-size sheet would not cut well. It was like the blades did not approximate each other well. Also, the edge tended tu lift and give a slight curve on the ends of longer cuts. 6. The top edge guide is formed by a a bend upward of the top surface metal. It has a rounded corner that doesn't allow a definite squared stop, allowing the paper to ride up on one side giving a cut that isn't square at the paper corner. 6. On thin paper, it didn't always cut smoothly. So, it did the job for me for this task. I don't recommend it for any job where precision is important or where thin paper is used. It's reasonably sturdy and you should be able to sharpen the blade (square its edge) if ever needed. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I had seen it first.

Buena compra, no tan buena porque no puedo cortar varios papeles en conjunto, corta como chueco si lo intentas porque se crea una presión. Pero sirve para cortar papel hasta 230 gr pero en pocas cantidades de hojas. Lo malo es que está un poco pesado
