Review: Works! - I purchased these fine-tooth stainless steel flea combs for my 4-month-old kitten, and I am extremely happy with how well they work. These are simple, but they do exactly what they are supposed to do. The teeth on the comb are fine enough to catch fleas while you’re combing through your cat’s fur. I was able to carefully comb through my kitten’s coat and actually remove fleas, which is exactly what I purchased this for. What I really like about these is that there aren’t any complicated instructions or anything fancy about them. You simply comb through your cat’s fur, and the fine teeth do the work. The stainless steel construction also makes the comb feel sturdy and well-made rather than flimsy or cheaply made. If your cat has fleas, I highly recommend using a flea comb along with whatever flea-control method you are using. For me, the comb was especially helpful because I could physically see what I was removing from my kitten’s fur. I use it daily, it always gets at least one or more and it also apparently Combs out the fleas eggs?, little black dots. Yes, I'm very happy with this flea comb, I use it gently and slowly through the hair. I don't use it like some sort of a brush or some heavy duty item, but it works just fine. It is comfortable in the hand with a good rubber grip and the animal doesn't seem to mind, in fact, she may look forward to it. I'm sure happier to not have to use chemicals. I do recommend.

It is nice sized. Great for med to large dogs. Would do well in longer furred pups. I have single coat short haired pitties. It catches fleas in between the teeth wel and get their dander. Overall great product. I love the handle too!
