Snuggle Puppy Heartbeat Toy, Calming Comfort, Medium Breeds - Biscuit

I got my puppy yesterday and this is, so far, the best thing I purchased. He wrestles with it and sleeps against it. He slept through the night which I totally did not expect. The toy is bigger than he is and that make the whole thing just that much cuter. I have a feeling I will be going through a lot of batteries but I think it's completely worth it. The toy is soft and so far has taken the little guys teeth with no tearing. I'll update further if he manages to rip it open or anything Update: No tearing and I did put in a hand warmer overnight to see how that worked. It made the toy warm enough to the touch to be comforting but not too hot. I'm not sure my puppy noticed or cared and I haven't done it since. He loves to wrestle with this and sleeps next to or on top of it whenever it's nap time. Update May 2017 -- He loves this toy, he still sleeps with it every night. It hasn't had a heartbeat or the warmer in years but it is still his go to sleep toy. It goes with him to boarding and on every trip. He still has the original stuffy though it doesn't have ears or eyes anymore. I had to wash it once due to an explosion in the crate, with a lot of bleach, and it fared very well. He wasn't sure about it for a few days as it didn't smell right anymore, but he soon fell in love with it again. Im very impressed with the quality as this has lasted three plus years of pretty constant mauling. Five Year Update: He still loves this toy. I keep considering getting a new one and swapping them out but it's held up surprisingly well. Seven Year Update: My neighbors got a puppy and she just cried the whole first night in the crate. I got her one of these and the difference is amazing. She hears the heartbeat and goes directly into her crate! I broke down and got my dog another one, even though this is a big pricey for the size of toy. He is in love. He has spent hours cuddling with this in the past two days. I put up a pic of the old one vs new one. I finally washed the old one and it's better, but he LOVES the new one. I was being sentimental as it was the toy I had with me when I picked him up from the breeder, but apparently he doesn't care. I will be getting more, possibly yearly, as he destroys them.

This did the trick for our new puppy. She loved it and wouldn't even come out of her crate for the first 24 hrs with it in it. She would rest her head on "her mom" and it was adorable! I didn't find the heartbeat too loud at all, and I personally didn't use the heating pad because I got scared reading reviews of dogs ripping it and it being toxic, so I stayed away. Our puppy is all grown now so wont be using it anymore, but was it overpriced? Absolutely. We only used it for two months. Still five stars though!

I love this Snuggle Puppy and cannot recommend it enough. My 8 week old lab puppy was doing very well in crate at night and willing would go in and out for meals, etc. But shut the door for a nap and he began the hysterics. And he did not stop which meant all day I had to have eyes on as he would sleep in area I had created in kitchen, outside of crate, for him to get use to living here (so needed watching) or listen to him cry and bark. I truly thought I was going to lose my mind and wanted to sob in the corner and functioning was impossible I was so tired. I was confident it was not the crate (tested my theory with creating slightly larger “playpen” like area and as soon as in there alone crying started). I kept researching what to do and nothing was helping and then I found a couple comments about this item. I figured it would be the best $40 I ever spent or the worst. It is the BEST! First time I put it in crate with my puppy he did not let out a single cry or bark and slept for 1.5 hours. It has continued to work each time and even helps him fall back asleep or stay more quietly playing in crate for a bit. Still exhausted but feel like we might make it. Thank you Snuggle Puppy!!

My soul dog recently passed away, so I bought this for his bonded (adult female Labrador) friend. She hated it from the start. Maybe it works better for puppies, but my dog is completely unnerved by the heartbeat. Refused to lay near it or even look at it. However, I definitely think this could be marketed as a tool for grieving dog owners. My pet may have hated it, but the heartbeat is surprisingly grounding and comforting to me. I’ve been having trouble sleeping since he passed, but the constant beat helps. Giving four stars *only* because the heartbeat can be a little intense. I wish there was an option to either turn it down or to buy a less powerful one. For anyone saying this toy isn’t “cute”, they’re being too fancy. It’s soft and adorable. Probably not great for dogs that like to chew.

I got a new 3 1/2 month old golden retriever puppy and was concerned about her adjustment. We call the stuffed dog Buddy. From day one she sleeps with him and every morning when she leaves her crate to go potty she takes him with her and then plays throughout the day. He has been comforting and she sometimes sleeps with her head on his back . I thought it was a bit pricey but he has been special to her so well worth it. Buddy is holding up pretty well except for the part of his tail she has chewed off. lol

This is a must have. I just got a puppy and have honestly no idea what I’m doing but everyone said to get the snuggle puppy and a sound machine. It’s making crate training so much easier. She absolutely loves it from day one it helps her smooth and sleep longer.

My puppy really loves his Snuggle Puppy. It really helped him get through his first night home. After 4 weeks he hasn't gotten tired of it. Treats it like a security blanket and loves to sleep next to it. I find him resting his head on it. Carries it around with him all over the house. It's well constructed and durable. Very plush with generous stuffing and nice fuzzy texture. Holds its shape. Recommended.

My dog actually loves this toy, which is why I wish I could rate it higher. It’s soft and cuddly, and my dog enjoys having it around. Unfortunately, the heartbeat feature was disappointing. It didn’t sound or feel very authentic to me, and since that was one of the main reasons I purchased this particular toy, that was a letdown. I eventually ended up removing the heartbeat insert altogether. It still makes a nice stuffed toy and my dog loves it, but I wouldn’t purchase it specifically for the heartbeat feature.

Cumple su propósito perfecto! Desde el primer día lo tiene. Jugaron con el peluche sus papás y hermanitas y en casa ya lo tiene para dormir. Aún después de 5 días duerme con el, lo olfatea y lame de vez en cuando. Lo recomiendo. No lloró en la noches. I was recommended to buy this for my new puppy who is 8 weeks. It's such a good idea and I'm sure this is great for most pups but mine was initially freaked out by the heartbeat so I turned it off and have it at the side of her bed. It's more of an expensive plushie at this point!
