Suddenly I was able to do “decent” sustained mini rallies and return with greater ease without feeling that I sacrificed forgiveness for its narrower 7.4” width shape. I was initially worried that XL swing weight of 120 may be too high compared to the Max’s 110, but the short gameplays haven’t shown up a strain yet. Haven’t had many fast dink rallies at the net either to notice any lag in manoeuvrability. In the long run perhaps the Control Max would be more suitable but the legwork with have to compensate for the shorter reach.
