Great Guest Bed Solution! King Koil Air Mattress Queen with Built-in Pump
I have only used this for two guests for one night, but I am extremely pleased with the results so far. The packaging and case for the bed are great. The inflating and deflating functions VERY well. It packed away again in the case nicely. The guest reported an excellent experience sleeping on the bed. I would (and may still) buy a second unit to have on hand. I am very pleased with this product. We were considering a Murphy bed type solution, but this is so much better for installing and then packing away again. It is mobile, easy to handle and about a 20th of the price of the cheapest murphy type bed. Thank you. Again, I highly recommend this solution.

Excellent Air Bed!
I bought this twin size King Koil luxury air mattress to use on our two week beach vacation. It far exceeded my expectations! It was super easy to set up and inflated in less than 90 seconds. It was a nice height, so it was easy for me to get in and out of bed. The mattress remained almost fully inflated the first night, and only needed a few seconds to inflate back to full (very normal, as I didn't inflate and let it stretch before vacation). It was easily adjusted to the perfect firmness or softness using the self inflation/deflation valves. I left it inflated for the whole two weeks. I slept more comfortably then I ever have away from home (I just am never able to sleep well in hotel beds, just too firm!) I used regular fitted sheets with really deep pockets which worked great. We just picked up the mattress fully inflated and popped it in an out of the way corner during the day. When it came time to go home, the auto deflation worked so well! The mattress fully deflated with zero air left in the mattress. I was stunned! I was able to fold it back up to its original size to put it away on it's super handy carry bag. I was so comfortable on this mattress, I could have lounged on it all day! Highly recommend!

The Worst Bed EVER!!!! BEST AFTER SERVICE EVER!!!!!
I had a very bad experience with my King Koil Bed but when I contacted them, they went way out of their way to make me happy. They sent me a brand new bed in no time at all. I didn’t have to go the trouble of sending the old leaky one back either. They were super apologetic and after a year of replacement they called me to see how my bed is. I used it a few times since the trail ride and it was just fine. I used it for guests to sleep on. There were no complaints. I will be doing the same trail ride again at the end of the month. I am pretty sure that I won’t have the same problems as what I had last year. I would recommend King Koil for their super customer service. The beds are very very comfortable and if there is a problem contact them and they will most definitely take care of ur complaints pronto. I am thinking that the customer service is more important than the product. So if ur looking for a very comfy air bed that’s easy to climb in and out of, give them a try. I highly recommend King Koil. They treated me like roayalty. This had to be the worst purchase that I have ever made through Amazon. I am so disappointed. I replaced a queen size airbed to use in my tent when I went on my over night trail rides. My queen size was excellent but it took up too much room so I was delighted when this thing was delivered. I did everything that the instructions told me to do, I filled it, which was super slick. I left it up for a couple of days like they suggested so it could stretch. They said that it would go a bit soft, which it did. I did not lay on it at all, just left it and then deflated it and packed it away for my week long trail ride and camp out. I packed it in my vehicle and was super excited to get it out of the bag and filled it up while in my tent. I used an extension cord and my inverter. It filled beautifully. I put a foam pad and a huge and thick comforter under it because of previous experiences with airbeds in tents. The air in the bed gets extremely cold if you don't put it on top of something to insulate it against the cold ground. I put a queen size fitted sheet on it and then my feather down sleeping bag covering myself with a feather comforter. It was so comfortable, until the morning. It had gone very soft. No problem, the instructions said that this might happen. I accepted it. As the week wore on, this bed got worse and worse. I had to fill it twice, once in the day and then before I went to bed, it was still very very soft in the morning. I wasn't getting any sleep at all and I was extremely stiff from the way that it had me encapsulated. I felt like a sausage in a bun. The very last night and the 6th night of my ride, was just the worst. I hadn't been able to sleep on this horrid thing, it was getting worse and worse. I needed my sleep (riding horses for 8 hours a day). Just before I went to bed, I filled it AGAIN.. it was firm and very comfy. At 3 am, my feet were way up in the air and my head was on the ground. It had lost pretty much all of its air. I was in tears, I gathered up all of my blankets and went to my SUV to see if I could get some sleep. No good, it was totally against the reason I am in a tent. It was so uncomfortable, andI need to see and hear the horses through the night. Back to the tent I went, pushed the totally deflated KING KOIL MATTRESS to the side and slept on top of the foam and comforters. I finally got some sleep. I am so frustrated!!! I want my money back and I never want to see this thing again.. I did my research.. this was supposed to be just awesome.. well, its total junk and I am now going to contact the company.. If I could give it no stars, I would.. I am so tired.. and my vacation/trail ride was ruined

Better than most
The bed is comfortable, fills and deflates quickly, has a plush top, and is quality materials. They do not need the pillow, in fact, please make a similar model without one. Additionally, the bed measured 16”, I thought they sent me the wrong bed at first but confirmed it was the right product number. It is not 20”, if I count the pillow its still only 19”, and not after it had time to stretch either. So it is not as tall as specs or as it looks in the photo. It is a quality air mattress though compared to others, and I kept it out of necessity. May buy again if they remove the built in pillow.

Total comfort is where my King Koil truly shines.
As someone who’s hosted countless guests and ventured on numerous camping trips, I’ve had my fair share of experiences with air mattresses—some stellar, others forgettable. When I decided to try the King Koil Luxury Queen Size Air Mattress with Built-in High-Speed Pump, I was cautiously optimistic, given the mixed track record of air mattresses in general. After extensive use at home for guests and on the road for camping, I can confidently say this mattress has exceeded my expectations in comfort, stability, and versatility, setting a high bar compared to competitors like SoundAsleep, Intex, and Serta. Below, I’ll share my firsthand experience, diving into its design, performance, and how it stacks up against the competition, concluding with why it’s a worthy investment for anyone seeking a reliable, luxurious airbed. From the moment I unboxed the King Koil, I was impressed by its thoughtful design. The 20-inch height makes it feel like a real bed, which is a game-changer for both home and camping use. Getting in and out of bed is effortless, especially for older guests or those with mobility issues, unlike lower-profile options like the Intex Dura-Beam Plus (16.5 inches) or the Bestway Tritech (18 inches). The built-in high-speed pump is a standout feature, inflating the queen-size mattress in just under three minutes—faster than the SoundAsleep Dream Series, which takes about four minutes. Deflation is equally quick, and the included nylon storage bag makes packing a breeze, though at around 19 pounds, it’s slightly heavier than the SoundAsleep (18.9 pounds). The flocked velvety top is soft and grippy, ensuring sheets stay in place without the plasticky feel of cheaper models like some Intex offerings. Unlike the Serta Raised Air Mattress with its dual-pump system, the King Koil’s single pump is simpler but doesn’t compromise on maintaining firmness overnight. From the moment I unboxed the King Koil, I was impressed by its thoughtful design. Looks and feels like a real bed, which is a game-changer for both home and camping use. Side sleepers, like my sister, found the pressure relief at the shoulders and hips exceptional, while back sleepers, including myself, appreciated the medium firmness that kept my spine aligned. This versatility makes it suitable for all sleep positions, unlike the SoundAsleep, which some testers found too firm for side sleeping. Compared to the Insta-Bed Raised with NeverFlat Pump, the King Koil feels less bouncy and more stable, thanks to its coil-beam construction, which prevents the dreaded “roll-off-the-edge” sensation I’ve experienced with flimsier models. Even when sharing the bed with my partner, motion transfer was minimal, a feat not all competitors achieve. On the road, the King Koil’s durability and portability make it a reliable companion. I’ve used it for camping in various conditions, from rocky terrains to humid nights, and its puncture-resistant PVC and waterproof flocked top held up admirably. Unlike a Chillsun model I tested that deflated within six months, the King Koil showed no signs of wear after multiple uses. Its 600-pound weight capacity is higher than the SoundAsleep’s 500 pounds, comfortably accommodating two adults or a heavy sleeper like my friend who weighs >250 pounds. King Koil Luxury Queen Size Air Mattress is a standout choice for its exceptional comfort, stable design, and durability, whether used at home for guests or on camping adventures. Its 20-inch height, quick inflation, and supportive coil technology make it feel like a real bed.

WARNING: Contains Noxious Chemical Odor & Compressor has High Pitch Whine
Buyer beware. This product contains noxious chemicals that are damaging to your health and will have lasting effects on the quality of your homes environment. I purchased this King Koil 16" queen air mattress as a means of having my parents stay over. I read that it is ideal to have it blown up and left out over a number of hours 1) So as to let the bed best maintain its shape and 2) to let it air out as it may come with an unpleasant scent. My unboxing started off with opening the well designed box in my living room, excited to test out my new air mattress. I took off the plastic wrapping, and then unfolded the bed. Suddenly an overpowering chemical odor filled my room. I felt the need to bring the bed into my office and close the door so that the odor wouldn't fill the whole house. At this point, I had a painful headache suddenly erupt. I opened both of my windows and turned on the fan. At first I figured the scent would be akin to the foam mattress I had purchased years ago, and that the scent would quickly dissipate. I proceeded to follow the instructions to plug in the mattress and let it inflate. What followed what could best be described as a compressor that was optimized for efficiency but did not even in the slightest consider user experience. The fan was extremely efficient and filled the bed within 2 minutes. However, it was an extremely high pitch whine that was painful to be next to. I had to leave the room. I realized at this point the odor had filled the house. I proceeded to open up all of my houses windows and turned on all of the fans. When I saw the bed was nearly full, I re-entered my office and turned off the compressor. I decided to follow the instructions and let it sit for 8-12 hours over night while I left one of the office's windows open and fan on. I turned off the fans and closed the windows to the rest of the house a few hours later before bed. My headache didn't go away that night. The next morning I woke up with an excruciating headache. The chemical odor was still extremely strong in my house. I opened all the windows and turned on all the fans again. When I opened the door to my office I was overpowered by the chemical smell, despite the fan and window being open all night. I immediately deflated the air mattress, being sure to close my office door behind me so as to contain the odor, and packed the mattress into its travel bag attempting to get rid of the odor. At this time, the mattress had a much fainter odor. The odor in the office, however, remained very powerful. I opened my second office window & let the office air out over the entire day. By the end of the day, after having all windows open and fans on, the odor was only faint in certain parts of the house but remained strong in my office. That night, with the odor still very strong in the office, I noticed that there was a fine layer of black particles covering many surfaces. Upon reflection, I inevitably inhaled whatever this was & it is likely what caused my headaches. I decided to sweep, dust, and deep clean the office. This significantly helped remove the odor - however, it was still present. I left the window open and fan on over night. The next morning I was no longer having headaches and the scent was no longer in any part of the house other than the office, where it was still noticeably present but no longer overwhelming. Unfortunately, I had to work in this environment. I left the windows open and fan on all day. It was at this point that I decided that I couldn't in good conscious have my parents sleep on this mattress. I set it up through Amazon to return it the next day. By the next morning the odor no longer was noticeable in my office. On the other hand, I am questioning what potential long term effects this experience could have on my body. The King Koil Air Mattress is made of PVC. PVC is made with a number of chemicals that are released throughout its lifespan. This includes chemicals such as Phthalates to help soften the PVC. According to the National Institute of Health "Phthalates are a series of widely used chemicals that demonstrate to be endocrine disruptors and are detrimental to human health. Phthalates can be found in most products that have contact with plastics during producing, packaging, or delivering. Despite the short half-lives in tissues, chronic exposure to phthalates will adversely influence the endocrine system and functioning of multiple organs, which has negative long-term impacts on the success of pregnancy, child growth and development, and reproductive systems in both young children and adolescents." Wang Y, Qian H. Phthalates and Their Impacts on Human Health. Healthcare (Basel). 2021 May 18;9(5):603. doi: 10.3390/healthcare9050603. PMID: 34069956; PMCID: PMC8157593. It is truly a crime against humanity that a product made of such hazardous material could be sold to people at all, let alone in the name of profit. It's extremely concerning that at the time of writing this was one of the highest rated mattresses on Amazon. On the other hand, there are other air mattresses out there that use thermal plastics (TPU), are Phthalate free, are the same price, and will inevitably be a much more worthwhile investment. Please take the time to seek these out rather than purchasing this mattress. Bottom line: For the health of yourself and your family - do not buy this mattress.

Spectacular
Incredible! My husband, five-year-old, and I love camping and bought this as a huge upgrade from our queen size air mattress we all shared up to this point. We inflated in our living room before our trip last weekend and it held it beautifully. We used it throughout our camping trip on the Oregon coast and it held up flawlessly. It was extremely comfortable even with the three of us moving a bunch while we sleep we slept extremely well. This air mattress cost less than one night in a hotel room and was amazing for three consecutive nights without needing any air added. I’d recommend to anyone who enjoys camping and wants a great nights sleep anywhere.

Really excellent mattress!!!
I have used many different brands of air mattresses, usually the budget type that have fallen short for one reason or another. After my last mattress developed a seam leak, I decided I was going to spend the extra money and get something of the highest quality. This King Koil mattress is the most comfortable air mattress I have ever used. I am sleeping much better because of the support from the air coils. You can just tell that this is higher quality than most, as soon as it is inflated. The pump is easy to use, powerful, and inflates the mattress quickly. I like how there are two knobs, one for inflation and one for deflation - which allows you to adjust the firmness precisely to your liking. The full size is perfect for one person; it gives you some room to move and takes up less space than a queen. I like the look of the black sides and tan top, though I am using sheets and blankets to cover it. It just speaks quality from every angle. I must say, when I received the first mattress, I was a bit disappointed because there was an issue with air leaking - there is always that chance with any air mattress; however, when I contacted customer service, they were quick to ship me a replacement mattress, and the second one is perfect - like the quality I expected. This is totally worth paying the extra money for the quality you get. Hands down the best air mattress I have ever owned.

Tried to Inflate-SHORT CIRCUIT
Upon receipt, we tried to inflate the King Koil Twin Air Mattress with Built in Pump, but the internal pump starting smoking as it appeared the motor short circuited and would not inflate. We double checked the wall plug and the wall plug had no issues so it was clear the King Koil was defective.

Scam, avoid!
This was a horrendous experience, it never worked, the pump blew up, the quality was so pathetic, had to throw it away without even using it once. Very disappointing for such a price!

Great value, and durability. Comfortable. Effortless to deflate and inflate. Love it!
Great value, very comfortable! Effortless to inflate and deflate - a very nice surprise. Slept on it for four months - very happy with it. Much more comfortable and user friendly than I imagined it would be. Excellent quality in every way. I expect it to last a long time. I have used other air mattresses - hated them, they were so cheap that they started leaking after about 5 weeks.

Excelente
El mejor de todos los colchones, es más alto y queda muy bien inflado. Hace un poco más de ruido que otra marcas, pero tarda menos en inflar
