Dangerous - Please Be Aware....
These have had little use, I went away on a 2 week shoot and used them roughly 20% of the time whilst there. On a pick up shoot more recently upon switching on, one of the bulbs appeared to blow. We then tried to change it but to no avail. After taken to a reliable electrician, we were told they were ill protected from surges and other varying issues, and in that instance, the circuit board inside had actually blown up. We got very lucky that no one was hurt. He informed us the circuit boards were the cheapest that could be found and that the wires inside were exposed and dangerous.I strongly avise, after finding this out, you do not buy this product or if you do you have them reinforced and protected by a reliable electrician. Contacted seller but still not heard back so feel the need to leave this message.Other than the danger aspect, the lights are okay. Semi - reliable. The dimmers either on't work or stop working after using them once or twice. The bulbs are (as to be expected) cheap and unreliable and will no doubt need changing quickly. The dimmers, other than the danger, are the real low point of this as it seems like such a great feature but they're cheap and shoddily made so ineffective. Recommend putting your money towards something safer and more airtight unless you get them modified but a trusted individual.

Great lights
For the price its a great starting pack for filmmakers however 3200k light isn't much used anymore and the mess with applying gels on top of it is time consuming so i think red heads are slowly dieing out. For indoor filming i would suggest bulb or leds though over this. But i bought them and i am satisfied with what i got.

Great starter kit, though cheap plastic.
I've used these for more than 18 months now. Only one bulb has gone in that time. They do get incredibly hot, which is to be expected. They are powerful, and perfect for 3 point lighting.Only issue to complain about is that the plastic lock mechanism on one of the stands no longer works. The steel bolt inside the plastic clip just rotates when you turn the lock. This means I cannot extend one of the stands. It can be pulled up and forced back again, but I expected the plastic to be more rigid, and not just warp.

Got the job done, but...
I really didn't like these Redheads. The tripods they come with are very flimsy and I had a lot of trouble securing the heads to the tripods firmly. It even felt like the heads weren't actually shaped for that particular tripod! The lights are also rather flimsy and by day ten of filming we had broken two lights.

Avoid if at all possible.
Had these just under a year now. Probably the worst purchase I have ever made, arrived dented and scratched and far off the brand new state as advertised, one of the three lights never worked in the first instance, the other two constantly blew their bulbs adding extra cost, when blowing they also caused damage to extensions and sockets and blew out an entire circuit during one filming session, all three no longer work now due to the dimmer switches having been blown when bulbs blow, leaving the lights in a dangerous condition if used without the dimmer, no dimmer means one constant heat source that is extremely hot and dangerous to be on set with.Poorly manufactured.Though I received partial refunds for the failure of this product it has cost me dearly in hiring lights and time not on set and now having to buy a complete new rig......... though not these ones.Avoid if your serious about film production and work on a tight schedule.

Wow
Arrived quickly without hassle.I have been looking for studio lights for a while and couldn't make my mind up what ones to get. Opted for these because they were pretty cheap and I kind of ran out of time as I spent to much time looking. These redheads are great bits of kit, much better than I thought they would be.Remember and order extra bulbs though.

Dangerous - Avoid
These lights do not pass a UK PAT test. The set I bought have been used twice. The first time one of them failed and the other two got so hot they couldn't be used for longer than a few minutes. Last night however, I used them again and one of them exploded, which scared the people I was shooting and ended the shoot. Glass went everywhere from the bulb. They are of poor quality. The only thing worth having about them is the bag. Spend elsewhere.

These are so, so bad.
Please don't waste your money. One arrived broken, one ceased working completely after the first use, and the dimmer broke on the other within two days. The positive reviews on this product can only be paid reviews, because these are objectively terrible. The quality is unbelievably, shockingly low.You get less than what you pay for. Which is the main problem. It might seem cheap, but it's not cheap if they break within 24 hours of purchasing them. That makes them expensive.Avoid at all costs.
