Go Math, Focal Point Level 5: Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Go Math National (Hmh Go Math 2011)

The school system we are in does nor allow the students to remove the textbook from the class, so we purchased a copy for reference. This has been invsluable for our student to have this reference accessible at home. Answers included to some problems, and great explanations of example problems.

I purchased this book to keep at home because my child's school does not allow the children to take their math book home. Having been taught math the old fashioned way (not Singapore Method), I found some of the methodology used in the book quite challenging. Once understood, it is clear that it is a superior way to teach math. Having said this, I urge all to purchase the "Teacher's Edition" that has the answers and explanations on how to solve the problems the Singapore way. It will save you a lot of time and effort. The school doesn't allow the kids to bring their books home. This makes it easier for us to help our son with his math and if he forget to bring his homewroek we still have it here. It's great. Thank you!

i bought this so that I could help my child understand her homework that she brought home because the school doesn't let me bring home the textbook. found out once i recvd it that I should've looked for a teachers edition. this doesnt explain the concepts we needed for my childs homework.

Excellent book for the common core in 5th grade. I am excited to use it this year in my classroom.
