Not what I expected
I watched the TV series Michel Roux’s French Country Cooking and thought this might be a companion book. The recipes shown on the series were simple and straightforward French country cooking. The recipes in this book are complicated. I tried to find a published table of contents for this book before I ordered it, but none is published. So I took a chance. I don’t need another cookbook I will never use, so I returned this one. I still love Michel Roux and his talent.PS There is a section at the back of the book called The Basics, which is very good.
