Sugarflair Food Coloring Concentrate Paste, 25 Grams Midnight Black

I used this Sugarflair Rainbow Set to colour American buttercream for floral cupcake piping, and it worked very well for detailed decorating. The colours I used came through rich and vibrant, especially for the pink, orange, burgundy-style tones and green centres shown in my flower cupcakes. I only needed a small amount of colour at a time, so the pots should last well. The paste blended smoothly into the buttercream and gave an even colour without obvious streaking. What I liked most is that the colouring did not noticeably change the texture of my buttercream. The icing still held its shape for petal work, flower centres and other piped details, which is very important when doing floral cupcakes. I also did not notice any added taste from the colours. Because the colours are concentrated, I would recommend adding a little at a time and building up gradually, especially if you are trying to get deeper shades. Overall, this is a very useful set for cake and cupcake decorating, and I would buy it again for buttercream flowers work.

Amazing colors love it

This does such an amazing job coloring my buttercream. It's so concentrated you don't have to use much to get a beautiful deep color.

This smells really bad and gave my buttercream a horrible after taste. I pulled out some of my other sugar flair colors and they don’t smell anything like this one.
