I’m so glad I went through with this purchase. It has been an excellent addition. It has a sturdy base, big enough for leg work. It doesn’t slip and wobble around. It’s high enough off the ground to be effective while still remaining at a good price point. A staple in the routine. 9/10 recommend.

This Rage Fitness plyo box is extremely well-built and feels durable in a commercial weight room setting. The paint quality is impressive—it holds up well even with heavy daily use. One feature I really appreciate is how well these boxes stack on top of each other. It makes them incredibly space-efficient, which is a big deal in a busy gym. Plus, they still look clean and professional when stacked, so storage doesn’t compromise aesthetics. The only minor issue I’ve noticed is with the metal Rage Fitness logo plate at the bottom. It looks nice initially, but it’s not very durable and tends to come off during normal use. While the branding plate is attractive, I’d recommend the company switch to a flat sticker or printed logo for better longevity. That said, the logo doesn’t affect performance at all, and the box itself is excellent for training—stable, sturdy, and reliable. For that reason, I’m still giving it 5 stars.

I already had a 12" metal plyo box and I wanted another one so that I can do old school belt squats (e.g. standing on top of two plyo boxes with weights hanging from a belt squat belt via a loading pin). After receiving the box today, I tried it out and it works as intended. The box is robust in construction and it was fully assembled upon arrival. I'd say its build quality is commercial grade and in the context of the home gym, it should last the entirety of my lifting career.

This plyo box is a great addition to my home gym essentials because it can be used for so many different exercises. I like it for step-ups, box squats, elevated push-ups, Bulgarian split squats, and lower-body strength training at home. The steel frame feels sturdy, and the anti-slip top helps make the movements feel more secure. I also like that the height is useful without feeling too bulky for a home workout space. It’s a practical tool for building strength, power, balance, and conditioning without needing a lot of equipment.

excellent sturdy step up stool worth the money, HOWEVER, if you don't want to hear a rant, pass on this. So nice to have this delivered already assembled that i don't have to deal with any aggravation of the typical crazy assembly instructions from an unnamed country, NAY NAY!!! the flipping thing came with bubble wrap ,wrapped on every piece of metal. Not with one piece of tape but with a whole packaging tape dispenser wrapped over every inch of bubble wrap. It's in the category of frustration with the small safety seals on bottles with pull tabs that don't work and pump soaps that you can't get the flipping pump up to work! or those plastic packages that you need an industrial scissor just to open as you slice your fingers apart. Throw in the Amazon packages that mail me glass bottles in paper envelopes and a battery for a car remote in a huge box packed with 2 pounds of paper. It took 2 seconds to remove from the box and 20 minutes to unwrap the stool from its death cocoon. For those of you that made it through the rant..i feel better now..enjoy your stool.

I bought this to use as part of my physical therapy for hip pain. I'm dealing with pain when swinging my hip into the car and putting on pants. I'm doing other exercises, but this is something my physical therapist recently introduced me too that I thought could really help with muscle weakness. It arrived in a very solid cardboard box. This is solid iron and feels very solid. The platform itself is 12.5" (from metal edge to metal edge). If measuring just the piece of wood, it's about 12 1/8" x 12 1/8". I wear a size 9.5 shoe and fell very comfortable stepping up on to it. I'm not using this as a "jump box". I just do what I'll call a "single leg raise and squat", stepping onto it with one foot, slowly raising myself, then slowly lowering my self. I've already seen improvements in leg strength in just the 16 days I've had it. Initially I had to really lean forward when using it with my left foot to keep my body balance. Now I can step up on it slowly, just slightly swinging my other leg behind me (to maintain balance) and step up with just a very slight bend. So it's doing its job. Highly recommend. And, if the board or non-stick material ever fails, you can easily unscrew the board and put a new piece in. The non-stick material on top looks like it will last a long time.
