Says its 3mm, but pellets are a 1mm grain of sand, and medium to large fish varies by species but for cichlids is fair to say 1.5in in length and up. I don't know how or why this product gets a good rating. Wouldn't have bought it if it weren't for false advertising. Best part is YOU CANNOT RETURN IT.
