Review: game-changer - It was the first time that I tried konjac noodles, and after having read the reviews I was expecting a vomit-inducing smell. I was mentally prepared for it when I opened the first packet, but to my surprise, they didn't smell! Please note that after the noodles I tried konjac rice from another brand, and it did smell terribly so much that it lingered also after lots of rinsing! Anyway, back to these noodles, it was an amazing surprise. I am Italian and a pasta addict, so I had them with a tomato and ricotta sauce, some parmesan and basil. Not bad at all, and you don't feel guilty! The only downside is that they gave me a very bad heartburn/ stomachache during the night. I somehow overcame the problem by cutting them in half with scissors. I had them with red curry and veg, it was also very good. All in all , apart from a digestive issue that hopefully I won't experience anymore, I am very happy with the flavour and texture of this brand, and for the fact that they don't smell at all. Next recipe is going to be with homemade pesto!

**Q: What is konjac  flour made from**
A: Mushrooms

**Q: What is the shelf life on these noodles? I live overseas so the items would take about 12 weeks to reach me.**
A: There was only 3 month best before date on mine. So they would they would need to be eaten on arrival

A: I received six packets 😊

**Q: is it only 3% of Konjac flour truly in this product? if so, what's the main ingredient?**
A: 97% water and 3% konjac flour, plus a food safe additive to keep the shape of the noodles which is Calcium Hydroxide (I’ve done research and it’s safe to eat and used for centuries eg even ancient cultures in Mexico)

It was the first time that I tried konjac noodles, and after having read the reviews I was expecting a vomit-inducing smell. I was mentally prepared for it when I opened the first packet, but to my surprise, they didn't smell! Please note that after the noodles I tried konjac rice from another brand, and it did smell terribly so much that it lingered also after lots of rinsing! Excellent for low carb dietary requirements. Please please read the instructions. You MUST rinse them thoroughly. Yes, they smell when you open the packet and drain them, but this disappears after rinsing. These are an excellent, filling alternative to those noodles you pine hue but can’t have on a low carb diet. They don’t actually taste of anything much until you load them with your favourite spices/flavourings. Then they take on that flavour superbly. Low carb, low fat, low calorie, low maintenance!
