This is a gorgeous high quality lens hood for the Sony FE 50mm F2.5 G and FE 40mm F2.5 G lenses

Got it for my 24mm F2.8 lens on my A7CR, looks the part and nicely made, think it should be more like £20 and they should do a silver version.

Overall a bad experience. The ETA was way too long. The actual lens hood was misaligned with the lens (it was not perfectly horizontal). For a product worth almost INR 7000, this was extremely disappointing. I immediately returned it and got my refund. Consider your decision twice before buying it.

Not much bigger or heavier than the original Sony supplied hood but much more attractive in use . It fits and locks onto my 50 G lens perfectly . I plan to leave it on all the time so the fact that you cannot reverse the hood for storage is a non issue. As you cannot use the Sony pinch cap with this hood in place, it is good that the supplied Haoge cap is such a good fit and attractive in its own right.

Very good quality! I put it on my Sony 20mm f2.8 pancake lens with my a6700 and there isn’t any play! I was also able to put the hood on with an ND filter underneath it as well.
