UPF 50+ UV Protection Travel Umbrella Ultra Light Weight

I bought this for a trip to Georgia in summer. When forced to spend any amount of time in direct sunlight, this umbrella makes a noticeable difference in temperature and protects well from the sun. It is also fine for sudden rain showers but I don't know that it would hold up to a strong wind. It is somewhat difficult to fold down, but not so much that it causes any issues for me. I would buy this again.

I have used this umbrella almost everyday since I bought it. As a redhead with fair skin, putting on sunscreen and using this umbrella has kept me safe from the sun. The umbrella is well made with a button that opens and closes it. It also comes with a sleeve which I really like. I took it to the beach on a very windy day and I had no issues with it at all. Very happy with my purchase.

I've been using this for over a year for hiking. The size and weight are perfect; I even go through trees off-trail with it. Its mechanism works great and it has never turned inside-out even in a stiff breeze. The handle is comfortable to hold for hours, provides a good grip, and doesn't feel hot or sticky in your hand. Weight is just a bit over 1 pound. The silver material on the outer surface of the umbrella seems related to the opaque silver coating on scratch lottery tickets and other scratch-off cards in that it can scratch off of the umbrella, exposing the black nylon fabric. I don't care about the scratches since I just use it for hiking. But this umbrella also keeps you dry in the rain. I got caught in a thunderstorm on a trail and just used the umbrella for rain even though I had a nice rain jacket in my pack. If you're looking for a high-quality, lightweight, comfortable-to-hold-for-hours sun umbrella for hiking, this is it.

I purchased this umbrella for my families trip to Disney World June 22-27(Hot)!! Pros: the umbrella is lightweight and small enough to through in a suitcase and carry around in a backpack. It is has an electric open and close button which makes it easier for kiddos (8yo). The umbrella did offer shade while walking around which cooled you down. Cons: Not very sturdy, so when the wind started to blow we had to close it so that it wouldn’t flip. The umbrella is small so for an adult using it you will not receive much coverage from the Sun. It was perfect for my 8yo to walk around with. I plan on keeping it for her I hope this review helps!

Sincerely one of the best purchases I have ever made. I have a sun sensitivity (PMLE) and this parasol has been the best in preventing my break outs. I’m sick of putting chemicals on my skin and this makes it so I don’t have too. It’s easy to use with its spring loaded opening, the quality of the material is really nice and reflective, offering a true UPF 50. I definitely recommend it if you’re sensitive to the sun like me in this world that is getting hotter and hotter.

I used this in the 110+ degree weather in Arizona and New Mexico. It felt like the heat was being reflected instead of absorbed as it would be when using a normal umbrella. It is small allowing for easy carry by hand or in a sling bag. The build seems good during the summer heat but, it might not be sturdy enough when it gets very windy and rains hard. I will be purchasing another though when they are back in stock.

This thing saved me during the heat wave in Italy late June 2026… Over 100° F in Rome every day, upper 90s and higher humidity in Pompeii. I literally would not have been able to walk around without this umbrella. It didn’t keep me “cooler“ per se, I would say “less hot“… and mainly kept my skin from absolutely frying even with 40 SPF sunscreen. I opened it closed it dozens and dozens of times because as soon as I went in some shade I’d close it down. The biggest downside to this umbrella is that it’s fairly heavy— but if it was more lightweight it would be flimsy. I tried a “lightweight“ SPF umbrella and it literally snapped the first time I opened it. This umbrella is well-made. It’s a bit of a hassle trying to walk in crowds because you can poke people, so you either have to lift it or fold it up, but I can’t suggest it highly enough if you’re going somewhere hot. It will save you!

We got this umbrella after one of my family members went to Turkey to have a hair transplant and needed to stay out of the sun. This umbrella was the perfect size for one person. We were in the middle of an intense heat wave while abroad and we were all trying to get under the umbrella given it felt about 10 degrees cooler in the umbrella shade. My only complaints are it only held up okay in the wind and I wish it were a bit more compact with us using it while traveling. It was still small enough to easily stuff in a back pack, but a bit large for a purse.

Really solidly built umbrella. Just the right size when open and folds up to a great compact size.

Good sun protection and say to use with automatic function

I have recently purchased this umbrella to block the sun on my way to work. I can see the following: 9/10 for sun blocking as advertised. 6/10 for windy weather. It was not very sturdy against wind. 9/10 opening/closing mechanism. I had no problems regarding that. 10/10 in size as it was very suitable to me. I have given it 9 as I did not try it in 40+ degrees sun yet. I suggest you use it during the summer or at the beach.

Light and sturdy umbrella. So far it has been good. Love that it has UV protection as well. Bought the one with green inside, looks really nice. I take it to work everyday and it doesn’t add too much weight
