Works As Advertised
This is an excellent product. I used it to repair a tear in the tonneau cover in my pickup. I covered a small tear and torn seam along the edge. The seam was tricky because it was along the edge where the cover flexes. Both repairs are holding up after 3 months. It has rained a lot and both areas are holding tight even the one that has to bend and flex. Also it is a tough strong cloth like tape not a flimsy thin material.

Burly, Durable self adhesive patch
I used this to proactively patch worn areas and retroactively patch holes in a ski and snowboard bag that was handled with the normal care during air travel. While I've yet to travel with it, I noticed the following. First I ordered the black color, and it matched the color of my ski bag nicely. It's there, but it doesn't stand out. It was very easy to cut to the right size and shape, and once I had it that way, I was able to stick it right onto the bag. It appears to adhere nicely, but I'll have to see if it holds up on the next trip. It worked so well with the bag I planned to use it on that I decided to look at another rolling duffle to fix it. That seemed to work pretty well too, and again I'm looking to see if holds on the next trip. It seems pretty versatile, and I'm thinking I can use this for lots of other quick patches on many items going forward. The price was very fair for the amount of product, and I'm hoping to continue using it on a variety of items that get holes in the future. I don't know if it's waterproof or water resistant yet, but I suppose I'll likely see that too on the next ski trip. Even if it's not, I didn't really get it for that. I got it to patch holes and be abrasion resistant. Based on the texture, I'm thinking it should do that just fine.

Works Great
This is an excellent product. I have used it on grill and chair covers. It stays stuck and hold the tear together. I’m glad I found this!

Very good, easy to use
Durable, and long lasting. Only critique is that the color fades quickly on outdoor fabrics that are exposed to sunlight. Blends in well, very sticky, little to no leakage and works well. Highly recommend it for practical and economic repairs

one of those products that actually does what it claims.
I picked up KING MOUNTAIN Canvas Repair Tape after a tear showed up in the canopy of my pop-up tent, and I have to say—it’s one of those products that actually does what it claims. First off, the adhesive is seriously strong. I cleaned and dried the fabric, applied the tape, pressed it down firmly, and let it sit overnight. The next day, it felt like part of the original material. I’ve since taken the tent out in wind and light rain, and the patch hasn’t lifted or peeled at all. What I really liked is how well it blends in. I used the beige color on a canvas-style fabric, and from a short distance you can barely notice it. It’s not completely invisible, but it looks clean and intentional—not like a sloppy fix. Application was straightforward. The tape cuts easily with scissors, and it’s flexible enough to conform to seams and slightly uneven surfaces. Just make sure you apply it carefully the first time—once it sticks, it really sticks. A couple of minor downsides: if you’re trying to repair something under heavy tension (like a stretched seam), you may want to reinforce both sides for extra durability. Also, it’s not ideal for super thin fabrics—it might feel a bit stiff in those cases.

Sticks great but color fades quickly
The good: The patches have been on my tonneau cover for several months now and have not lifted at all. The bad: It started out black to match my tonneau cover but faded quickly to a light grey in the sun.

Easy fix
Easy fix to a rip in a golf bag. Looks good and should last a while.

Much more durable than anticipated
I’m pleasantly surprised at how well these patches have held up. I had some mice chew 15-20 holes in my popup trailer. Some holes in the canvas were 3 inches in diameter. Purchased these hoping to get one trip out of them while I ordered new canvas. Applied them in two rows on some bigger holes. Make sure to round square edges, as the corners would start to peel first. A full season and 4 trips later, through 5 rainy days, patches as still as they were the day I applied them. I don’t expect them to last forever, but I’m am very, very pleased by the result. The cost and ease of application make this a great product.

Sticks well. Dependable repair.
I used this canvas repair patch to fix a tear on my gazebo canopy, and it worked really well. The material feels strong and durable, and the waterproof coating is a nice bonus for outdoor use. It was super easy to apply—no glue needed—and the patch stuck firmly right away. The repair blends in nicely and has held up against wind and weather so far. Overall, a quick and effective solution for canvas damage.

Great canvas repair tape.
King Mountain canvas tape is great. Repaired boat canvas and it done a great job. Put a patch on the top and underneath and it strong as before. Happy with the product.

colour fades
I used this canvas repair tape on my boat cover, and it worked well for patching up some small tears. The adhesive is strong, and the tape stuck securely to the fabric, even in wet conditions. It helped extend the life of the cover, and I’ve been able to avoid replacing the whole thing for now. One downside is that the color started to fade after a few months of exposure to the sun, which made the patches a little more noticeable. While it still holds up well functionally, the appearance could be better if the tape had more UV resistance. Overall, it’s a reliable and effective solution for quick repairs, especially on a boat cover. Would recommend for temporary fixes!
