Cleaned and sharpened my hedge trimmers really easily and quickly. 5 stars!
Having used Cutting Edge 1 on my garden shears with really good results, I was expecting good things on my hedgetrimmers, and I wasn't disappointed. Same size bottle but there was more in it, but this is good as my hedge trimmers are a lot bigger than my shears. Most difficult bit was to start and stop the hedge trimmers so both the blades were open to apply the gel to the inner edges, took a couple of attempts for the trimmers to stop open, but no real problem. Just applied the gel via the little nozzle on the bottle to the inside of the blades and then ran them for a minute or so and you can quickly see the blades become shiny like they were new again. Overall it took around 5 minutes and was no physical effort. My trimmers are quite new, so didn't need to run it for long. I wish I had known about this product as I threw away a perfectly good set of trimmers that had gone blunt, so it would have saved me some money if I had been able to sharpen and clean them this easily! As I said on my Review of Cutting Edge 1, just be careful you don't rub your eyes with this on as quite gritty, so would recommend gloves or glasses..... but it does say this on the bottle. Good value and a great result. Highly recommended

No sign it works to sharpen
Tried by a tradesman. Used on all of my hedge trimmers however I havent noticed a difference that lasts at all and for the amount you get and amount you have to use I dont think its worth it

Very handy.
Great stuff, for the throwaway tools of nowadays, when you can't get a new blade or even sharpen in place, this does help put an edge back on my cutters.
