Do you apply to damp or dry hair?

I do dry. Add two ounces creme 20 volume peroxide developer to each bottle. It's a one for one proposition. I leave on for 45 minutes cause I want deeper color and to keep from turning to a gold blonde sooner. I want to keep it ash blonde longer. You can mix colors too, using this method. I do. Just keep to 1 ounce developer for one ounce color. Hope this helps.

Colored my hair 30 mins ago with l'oreal "cool light brown" 6c and it didn't cover 40% of the gray. will this work better and which is "cool brown"?

It should. My hair is a mix of light brown and gray. I use 9AA-BV 30 D flaxen blonde with 20 white creme developer with great results.

Need medium cool (not brassy) brown last used 7NN but still turns orange any suggestions?

To get rid of orange/red tones I actually use Schwarzkopf 0-22 in with whatever color I’m using.. I don’t use the whole tube, just a little bit with the color I’m using. With brown it gives a very beautiful ashy tone, which is what I love. I get it off of amazon too! Hope this helps because it’s the only thing I’ve found that gets rid of orange/red tones whether it’s with blonde or brown hair color.

Love this product!

For the past 20+ years I was using the brand mega blonde on my hair. It’s been discontinued in the past couple years and I’ve struggled finding a color to match the same color I was using with mega blonde. I’ve used a couple different colors of this brand, but finally found my match! 12A- HL-V High Lift Cool Blonde is it! For reference my natural color is a dark dirty blonde. I’m so pleased with the results.

12AA-BV is a life saver for hot roots problem

My natural hair is level 5 brown and it pulls a lot of orange during lightening. I have tried multiple hi-lifts, and before only a bleach was able to get me to a natural sandy blonde, while I still had to use a T14 toner afterwards to cool it down. I have tried Clairol 12A hi-lift which left me with hot roots again and I had to tone my hair after it. Today I used 12AA-BV (blue counteracts with orange) and voila - my roots are matching the rest of the hair after one application, no ash toner needed!
