Lion Brand Yarn 100 Percent Acrylic Ice Cream Yarn, Tutti Frutti,10.89 x 10.89 x 22.32 cm

I bought this three pack of yarn as I wanted to crochet a scarf for my Nan as a birthday present. She loves pink and pastel colours, so this colourway met the brief perfectly. I really wanted to ensure the end product would be soft against her fragile elderly skin, while keeping her warm and cosy. As this yarn is intended for baby products, I figured it would be soft, and it is - it's lovely to work with. I ended up only using about a ball and half for the scarf, so added tassels too. I think I will make her a matching hat with the remainder. One thing that I was pleased to note is that in the two balls I've used so far, I found only 1 joining knot. I realise that it maybe unavoidable, but I hate it when it happens. Even better, on this occassion, the knot ended up at the end of a row, so you can barely see it. Another bonus for me is that it is acrylic, because it means that my Nan does not have to go to any extra lengths looking after it when it requires washing. I know there is a lot of snobbery around acrylic yarn, but this yarn is beautiful, soft, and reasonably priced, and practical. Highly recommend.

I'm blown away by the quality of this yarn. It's even prettier in person than in the photos. I'm only in the learning phase of crochet and started using this yarn. What a massive difference. I can say buying a good hook with a good quality yarn has been a game changer!

Fantastic yarn for a beginner really beautiful to crochet with, good quality, reliable thickness. Making a really long, extra thick scarf with it so went back to order more.

Gorgeous wool to knit with, it's lovely and soft, and the colours blend beautifully. The only problem I have is that the ball keeps unravelling and knotting, which means you spend ages sorting it out.

Knits up well and colour change not as often as some multi colour wools - but quite pleased with it. Had to rewind as very loose but I think it will go a long way

Tyvärr tillkom vid leverans en tullkostnad på 134:- som jag inte fått information om så det vart ett dyrt garn nystan.

Me gustó bastante el estambre, tiene suavidad, es liviano, los colores se presentan de una forma muy agradable a la vista, no se separan las hebras al tejer, no trae nudos. Hice una cobija de bebé a dos agujas, con una medida aproximada de 90x70 cm y una cobija a crochet de 1M x 1M aproximadamente. Necesité cinco madejas. Es de los estambres que Dios mediante volveré a comprar.
