Got this as a gift for my Mom. was better than anyone expected! Very pretty, with rotating colors… it’s not very big, but that’s not necessarily bad, as it fits well on a small shelf. The crafting and clarity of the ball is crystalline.

It was package very well. I got my husband to order for me. I wanted it as a gift. It look just like it was describe. test it out and works great and the colors are good when it is on.

This is a reasonably priced orb that also functions as a night light. It was the perfect gift (according to her parents) for our 5 y.o. grand-niece who is interested in astronomy. She has a set of good binoculars she uses to watch the night sky and its planets and stars but this offers her an opportunity to look at it at her liesure. It is small enough to fit on a shelf or bureau and lights up to use as a night when she goes to bed. It has a sturdy base to keep it from falling over and the glass is solid so it isn't much of a breaking hazard. It was reasonablyy enough priced for us to include a book about the night sky for her to read to further her knowledge. I recommend this as a gift for anyone interested in astronomy - young or old! Really cute. Obviously it’s pretty small, which I knew when I bought it. I didn’t know that it only cycles through rainbow, and that kind of threw me off. You can’t set it to a single color as far as I’m aware, only have it continuously cycle through multiple colors.

I bought this as a remembrance of my Dad because of the 4-leaf clover. It's on my desk at work and plugs into my computer nicely. I would check the dimensions and the cord length though to make sure this works for you.
