The Stryfe I've Always Looked For, No Mods Needed
This is an absolutely incredible blaster right out-of-the-box, without any modifications needed. I'm used to working with 3D printed kits or modifying existing blasters, and this one is phenomenal without even having to touch it. I absolutely love the design, always wanted a Stryfe, but didn't want to have to tinker around with beefing it up, and this is wonderful. It has a ton of power to it, right up there with the other pro big boys,, very fast, very accurate, but with that similar feel to a Stryfe that everyone knows and loves. It does come with a half dart magazine, but can also accept Worker mags, which is an incredible decision on Nerf's part, really opens the possibilities for you without causing restrictions or making you have to spend a lot of extra money for no reason. The battery is really cool, it's a lipo but it's rechargeable with a simple plug and play cord, so you don't have to worry about doing anything special there, the only concern is it is very proprietary, so if it wears down over time, it could be difficult to source a new one. It is semi-auto, so you have to pull the trigger every time, but it's super fun. I know it's difficult comparing this to some of the other pro blasters that are out there in general from other companies, I just really like this for the nostalgia alone, and it is really fun. 100% worth it if you can get a deal. Highly recommended!

Quality. Fast. Fun. And more fun.
Sooo...I used to play semi-pro, and then eventually pro paintball years ago. Today, I have a 7yr old son who managed to con me into having nerf gun battles (we call them "blasters, not "gun" inherent to our kid's age - blah blah blah, I know...) So I bought this thing, and it's LEGIT as fu$&, lol, to say the least. Revs up quick as heck, shoots laser beams, made my 7yr cry a couple times ahen he got shot in the face (our one rule is that you have to wear glasses/protective eyewear), and then he ended up laughing it off - I I bought him one too - to make things even. I'm not a nerf expert, but this thing brings me back to my old paintball days and there have been some pretty intense nerf blaster battles over ths last 2wk since my purchase. Tons of fun. Quality product imo. When it comes to silly nerf guns/blasters ... money well spent. -Andrew

Cheap product.
My gun only lasted few minutes. The darts kept getting stuck inside the gun.

Too powerful for kids. But awesome
I bought this gun in thoughts of having a nerf war with my 2 younger sisters. I opened it up all excited. Fired it and quickly realized I cannot use this vs my sisters. It is very powerful and stings it would’ve made my sisters cry. I do not recommend for children. But overall This nerf gun is awesome. Shoots powerful, accurate , far and Fast if you have a trigger finger.

This is what I have been waiting for
Let's get to business, this thing is awesome, I bought one when it first came out and I still love it. I will admit it looks a little weird with how bulky it is, but it has to be for the large fly wheel cage and the giant battery which last a super long time. the motor is a bit loud, however when it is slinger darts at such a high velocity, that is expected. The sound of the motors winding up brings fear to my friend's hearts. This thing is also not 150fps, at least mine isn't. Mine is coming in at around 165fps, and with the included accu darts, this thing is just a beast. Plus, it takes my aftermarket worker mags, so I don't really need to buy any extra mags for it. The rails are not n-strike compatible though, they are rival compatible, while the stock attachment point is which is a little odd, but it doesn't really need attachments. Overall for this blaster I was super hyped about its release, and I was not disappointed, if the price was little lower, I would probably own two. But I don't feel like it is overpriced. I hope they make a rapid strike version.

Finally!
Nerf has taken to long to come out with a pro level blaster. The Style X is hanging by the handle in the bottom right of the photo. Awwww yeah. Finally, a pro level blaster from nerf. I can't say how long I've waited for this. As a modder, collector, and foam blaster fan, this hits hard. I am very impressed with this blaster. The flywheels are very close together, which could (can and will) rip the heads right off of the darts. I use worker gen3 HE darts, and I've found the stand up to the abuse of this blaster the best. Though, the included half length acua-strike darts are the most accurate and have the highest FPS. The trigger is very snappy, and one of the best I've ever seen from nerf in my 10 years experience. I hope the next flywheel blaster the do, will use the same battery tech as this blaster, it's by far the most user friendly ive seen. I can't wait for Nerf to make a high power (200+ fps) spring powered blaster for longer range and accuracy. The only downside is the price, for the quality of the plastic, the mag, and paint, I would prefer to pay somewhere around $80.00. This Blaster has made me very excited for the future of nerf, and has restored my good thoughts in Nerf. --CD #DudeBros4Ever #WeMissYouCoop! #CDsPaint #FoamFlingingPower!

Great blaster, poor customer care (Hasbro)
Absolutely love blaster. Absolutely do NOT love Hasbro's customer support. I've had the blaster for 2 years and operated it properly with minimal use (wear and tear). Went to use the blaster just last week and the battery was dead, so naturally I plugged it in to charge. The indicator light on the battery would flash meaning there's an issue. So I tried other cables and nothing would charge the battery. I went to Hasbro's website and sent an inquiry about a replacement battery or possibly purchasing a new one. Hasbro's response was less than underwhelming. I got a "the product is past the warranty period" and that was it. I understand the item is no longer covered by a warranty. There are two things that bother me: 1) the actual lifespang of the battery should be longer than 2yrs, especially considering the price of the product and the quality. 2) you can still purchase the blaster which means Hasbro is still making or has access to the battery. So the fact that Hasbro does not care to try and work out some kind of replacement is a little ridiculous. Again, I know timeframe makes it so the blaster is no longer under warranty but there's too many variables that make the interaction with Hasbro's customer support upsetting.
