This is the best zaatar. It has the smell and taste of the real zaater leaves, as this is reassuring that it is pure zaatar and not a mixture of other herbs. I enjoy using it as a dip with olive oil and sprinkle it on Greek yogurt.

We had some guests that brought this fancy organic farmers market hummus that was the very best I've ever had. I found Zaatar on the ingredient list and researched and bought this brand. Its perfect and has my my homemade hummus so much better. I also use it on chicken or potatoes. It is not spicy hot, just flavorful. The hyssop is not dissimilar from oregano. I will buy this again when I run out! '

This zaatar is so good! The flavor is fresh, perfectly balanced, and not overly salty like some others I’ve tried. I’ve been putting it on everything! Eggs, avocado toast, labneh, even just warm pita with olive oil. Will definitely order again!

The Zaatar Seasoning by Tyme foods is absolutely delicious mixed with olive oil and spread on a flatbread and baked ten minutes. Yum!! Fresh product with great flavor.

Mild taste, It was not as I expected. I had it before at my Palestinian friends house and it was more pungent and strong flavors. But it’s still good, I will use it.

The real deal. Look at the ingredients! no wheat or some other cheap substitute. I bought 3 brands to test. This was the only brand that had authentic ingredients and you know it’s real when you open the package, the smell is amazing. The other brands had little to no smell… says it all.

This za'tar is made with hyssop instead of thyme. There seems to be a big debate what ingredient is the "correct" one. The fact is that most za'tars even in the Middle East where I lived for ten years or more are made with thyme. That said, the herbs themselves are very fresh resulting in a pungent flavor. This kind does not have a lot of sumac (the sour purple spice) but does have some sour taste to it. Being a fresh and high quality product, it is a bit on the expensive side. Being that it's made with fresh herbs and hyssop, it could be different than the za'tar eaten in the Middle East if you've tried it there first. I'd recommend this kind for dipping with bread and good olive oil. If you want to mix it something else like bread or soup, go with the cheap one.

Authentic, flavorful, and using original ORIGANUM SYRIACUM. Why they may all be part of the same perennial family, true Zataar is not what we now call "thyme" or "oregano" or any other filler that even some Lebanese restaurants use. This is the original, Biblical Hyssop, so far as we know, and it's known for its many health benefits, especially the gut. You can use it for virtually ANYTHING, such as salads, or an oil/balsamic bread dip. Notice the fresh, green color. Notice the smell when your package arrives, even before you open it. If you want the original, this is it...grown in the hills and valleys of Syria and Lebanon. There is nothing like it

I've been craving for the Lebanese manakeesh zaatar ever since my favorite restaurant had to close down. I got the zaatar on Sunday afternoon and made this right away from recipe I found online. The bread wasn't as soft as the one I knew but the flavor of zaatar is identical. So satisfying! I ate every day with the same appetite and interestingly enough I already feel like my waist feels lighter inside. I often felt heavy and bloated before, but it seems like zaatar helped my digestion. Lebanese people surely know why they eat this amazing spice. Thank you, all Lebanese people who wrote your reviews and gave me the confidence to buy this product. Will certainly buy more just a larger quantity next time.

Zaatar by TYME Foods, is a very good product. We all love it, especially the smell is about freshness and a great invite to enjoy the food. It is made Zaatar is a combination of a few healthy spices, like sesame seeds, thyme, sumac, oregano, and marjoram. I use it mostly in backing, like bread or buns and when placing it in the oven with the zaatar on top, the house smells beautifully and the kids eat with pleasure and even ask for more. It can be used in salads and so many more dishes, reducing the need for too much salt. I'll recommend this spice to everyone who might be interested.

I like the flavour of this spice and have have put it on several things like salad, chicken, pita bread. As this is a new spice for me - not popular in my area that I know of - I don’t know if it tastes as it should. But either way I am enjoying using it. I am looking forward to trying it in other ways.

I researched this spicce after trying it for the first time atop a President's Choice hummus dip at a friend's party. I decided to order this one as i couldn't find it in the local stores. Now im using it on top of so many of the foods I prepare.

Arrived very quickly, well wrapped. I ordered it out of curiosity, and am anxious to try different ways of using it.
