Stick-On Repair Patches for Down Jackets, Tents, 11 Pcs, Transparent

Easy apply. Stays on wash after wash. Color match great. The photos are of a third patch I used on the same jacket after first application 2 years later. Original patches held great. This was another hole that occurred. We have them in black also. Same story. Works. You don’t get a lot of patch fabric for cost. But for an occasional tear this works great. And they are precut. If I were anticipating more tears I would buy the role style or large patch style and cut. But I’d rather not buy more matching patch than I may ever need. It’s just more to store. This is perfect for a jacket or small repairs. Showing the color in 2 different lights. Burgundy. To the naked eye it matches great. And I’m a color nerd. The slight variation in color is light reflecting off the fiber in the patch.

The color matched however the size I needed wasn’t included so I had to cut one to the size I needed. Other than that they were good quality. It was easy to apply and seems to have a good strong hold. I don’t know about washing it because the jacket I applied it to is dry clean only.

Many of the patches are way too small. That said, I did have great success with the larger patches. I bought these to do a repair on the rain hood of my golf bag. There were three small holes, close together. I used a patch on the outside, and backed it up on the inside. The white color of the patches look great on the white raincover. (The raincover is always up and closed on my clubs when the clubs aren’t in use, and the golf bag is kept in club storage at my golf club.) I bought and applied the patches in early summer, and they have held up through the season - work great, and really aren’t noticeable. The only reason I took off a star was due to the smaller patches in the package. Perhaps there is a use for them, but I suspect they would be difficult to remove from the backing.

Stuck it on my jacket like they said to do, pressed for 5 seconds and looks like it worked.

These are pretty thick. I have a couple little tears in my quilt-style bedspread and wanted so keep them from tearing further. I knew any solution wouldn't be invisible, but was hoping for more subtlty than this. Because of the stitching, I can't insert the patches behind the tears; they have to be on top. My bedspread looks like it has a couple pimple patches on it. They're pretty thick and not flexible enough to move with the fabric so much. The tears are contained, but that's about it. EDIT: They all lost adhesion in the washer. Most came off completely.

Do not get the clear ones. They stick perfectly but the clear ones are very visible and make everything so much worse. My north face down jacket got torn and I thought clear would be best. Well, as I was sealing the tear a bit of down came out and got sealed in. It was so so visible. Even without the down sticking out it would have been calling attention to itself. But with it, it just looked like I took tape to my coat. Finally went in search of dark purple patches, found them and applied right over the clear. That fixed the issue. So yeah, take the time to match the color of the patch to the coat.

My daughter caught her favorite winter coat on a nail and ripped a small hole allowing the white filling to be exposed. We used one of these and it has been a couple of months now and it is still repaired. They are thin and if you look very closely the patch is visible ...but an easy inexpensive fix. I can not speak of how if washes. I would recommend.

Work well so far

I bought these patches to repair my down jacket. They're great quality, not the cheapest but worked really well. Blended in with coat colour and stayed on after a wash.

La description est conforme au produit. J'ai trouvé dans ce lot une taille de patch adapté pour réparé ma doudoune. Cela fait 6 mois, rien ne bouche. Parfait. J'ai conservé le lot pour de futur utilisation mais je trouve certains patchs vraiment petit. J'imagine mal pouvoir les utiliser. La composition du lot pourrait peut-être être revue.

Nonostante la mia impacciata riparazione devo dire che la patch da me applicata è veramente difficile da vedere tanro che ho fatto fatica a fare foto che la rendessero visibile nonostante lo strappo fosse vicino ad una cucitura. Bene 5 stelle. Facili da usare e la riparazione diventa semplice e rapida. Si attaccano bene al tessuto, nel mio caso usato su un piumino con tessuto sintetico. È trasparente e non si nota perche il colore diventa uniforme a quello del tessuto. Nella confezione ho trovato patch di diverse misure che credo possano soddisfare ogni strappo Spero che si comporterà bene durante il lavaggio ma per adesso sono soddisfatta.
