Upon testing it I found some parts mostly near the top of the tumbler did become hot however other areas stayed cool allowing me to hold it, the lid isn’t leak proof if it was to get knocked over. While the seal where it screws together is secure and water tight the sliding latch for the drinking hole was not and water did leak through the breathing hole and the edges of the latch. The biggest perks are that the outside almost feels ceramic and the images of the dogs are lovely. The seal where the image joins back up was unnoticeable unless looked for giving it a neat and professional finish. Review: Does not keep drinks warm - Unfortunately it doesn't keep drinks hot. After 4 hours the coffee is just warm. I even pour hot water in it before the coffee to make sure the mug is hot but it still doesn't really work. It's pretty but that's about it.
