Calcium Plus (Hardness Increaser) To increase calcium hardness in pool water. Incorrect levels of calcium hardness may lead to pool surface and circulation problems. Treatment A low calcium carbonate level, below 40mg/litre the water may be corrosive. At 80mg/litre calcium carbonate a scale can start to form giving a protective layer to internal components of the pool plant. A calcium hardness level between 80mg/litre and 200mg/ litre is recommended. To increase the calcium hardness by 20mg/litre add 1.5kg Hardness Plus per 50m3. Application Dissolve Hardness Plus in 10 litres of water in a plastic bucket. Add to pool water near the return inlets. Keep circulation pump running. Storage & Handling Store in a cool, dry place. Do not mix with other chemicals. Always wear suitable gloves and eye protection when handling chemicals. Warning This container must not be used for or contaminated with other materials.
