I bought this mostly to line a cheap rug for my vinyl tile living room's new occupant, a puppy. I was super pleased with the non slip facet of the pad--better than the non water resistant ones i have under my other area rugs. It doesn't feel cheap. As for the water proof aspect, well we've only had 2 accidents so far, and I've gotten them cleaned up immediately, however, the liner resisted both the pee and the rug cleaning solution. So that's a win, as well.

This has been great. We put LVT floors done and needed something to keep our little princess from peeing thru her pad onto the floors. I’ve tried another kind but it didn’t work like this one. It really keeps it off the floor!!!

I did not find any directions on how to clean it. My Great Dane is on phenobarbital which increases thirst. He drank a whole toilet dry. This was under one of the rugs he chose to pee upon. Floor was dry under the pad.

Super soft! I don't use this for pets, I just wanted extra comfort and ensuring that my wood would be safe if a drink spilled. Great investment!

It worked out just fine! So far no clue if it will hold water and any pet incident...but that is ok with me!! I am now prepared!

Great product if you don't have pets or a large rug. The first problem is that they had to fold it in half for shipping (I get it), which left a bunch of puckering. Yet, after two weeks, the puckering still hasn't relaxed. I hope it will eventually flatten out with the weight of the area carpet and foot traffic. Second, I was hoping there would be a moisture barrier on the top of the padding as well to prevent accidents from seeping through into the padding and make for easier cleanup. I dread now trying to clean the padding if an accident happens. Therefore, as for the price, I'm not sure it's worth it because it's going to be a pain in the @$$ to clean.

Absolutely thrilled with this waterproof rug pad! It was easy to size to our rug (just trimmed the excess off). The waterproof bottom not only keeps our wood floors safe but grips securely on all sides! Annnddd unlike others we’ve tried, there’s no latex smell, which is a huge plus. It’s soft, plush, and adds a luxurious feel underfoot making our rug look even more high quality. The rug pad came with some folds from shipping but it flattened within the day and now lays so flush and nicely. We liked it so much we bought one for my in-laws! They are very thrilled with it as well!! Their old one was similar but not nearly as grippy and has a porous bottom that wasn’t waterproof and harbored mold! Would DEFINITELY buy again!
