I bought these shorts for my 11-year-old yellow belt, and in these short couple of weeks, he has really put them through their paces. These shorts are made of quality material and seem very durable. These shorts are very good. The size is correct, and they offer a lot of space to move. These are appropriate training shorts, no pockets, and the draw string is on the inside. The draw string is not too long or too elastic, so he can get a good fit, which is important during a fight. The stitching is strong and the fabric is light but still thick enough that they aren't see-through. Overall, they are quite durable, and very comfortable. The price is reasonable for the quality of the product. I have not washed them yet, so I'm unsure if they will shrink, but if they do, I'm confident they won't shrink much and that they will still fit. We went with the black ones because that's the standard color for no-gi at our bjj gym. They look great, and the label is not to flashy, it does not take attention away from my fighter. I think they will hold up quite well in the upcoming UFC and IBJJF Jiu-jitsu Con tournaments.
