I recently bought the Elite Gourmet EKT8690 1.7 L Electric Tea Kettle (1500 W), and I’m really impressed! Boiling water has never been quicker—this kettle heats a full liter in just a few minutes, and the 1500 watt power is definitely noticeable. The stainless steel exterior and sleek design look great on my kitchen counter, and the 1.7‑liter capacity is perfect for preparing tea, coffee, or cooking needs without needing constant refills. I especially appreciate the automatic shut‑off and boil‑dry protection—lots of peace of mind! The cordless base makes it super easy to lift and pour, and the cool‑touch handle is comfortable and safe—even right after boiling. Cleanup is simple too; the interior is smooth and there’s a removable filter in the spout that keeps minerals at bay. Overall, this kettle combines speed, safety, and style at a fantastic price. Highly recommend it for anyone in need of a dependable and efficient electric kettle!

Just for appearance of sake for the first try so far it's five star at first I didn't like the fact that it was slightly slanted with a wider pour spout but once I realized that I made a liter of water in 4 minutes boiling hot I'm impressed I have another one kind of like this that I made the mistake of hard boiling some eggs in and it kind of changed the way it worked it still works really well it just steams a whole lot more than I did so I bought this one so far I'm pleased with it it pours nicely no spillage heats up quickly the only thing I don't like is the light that's on it is on a cheap piece of plastic on the bottom to turn it on rather than a button at the top that lights up the whole inside I don't like the fact that it's dark inside but it does cook rapidly and I suppose we have automatic shut off we'll try that part tonight so so far so good for the price 16 bucks for an electric kettle well you can't beat that

This Elite Gourmet electric kettle is everything I wanted and more. It boils water incredibly fast—perfect for my morning coffee or late-night ramen. The one-touch lever and auto shut-off features are lifesavers—no more worrying about forgetting it on! The 360° swivel base makes pouring a breeze, especially with the ergonomic handle and wide spout. I also love how sleek it looks on my countertop. It fits right in with my modern kitchen, and the glossy finish gives it a premium feel. Cleanup is fast and hassle-free, and the cord wrap keeps my space tidy. Whether you're using it in an apartment, office, or home kitchen, this kettle is dependable, safe, and built to last. Elite Gourmet knocked it out of the park. Highly recommend!

I bought this to take to work with me. I didn’t want to take my hundred dollar kettle to work. If you are using it for just yourself or maybe a few other friends this works perfectly. It brings water up to a boil. It automatically turns itself off I myself love it and for the price I paid for it. I consider a good deal Just a little tip from me you don’t have to listen to it, but this is what I do. I use distilled water in it because I end up by tasting my tea or coffee without having any chemical taste from the supposed filtered water they have at work. Also, it’s easier to clean. I just take a damn cloth over it twice a week. There’s no real residue. It’s just that I clean it twice a week That is just my tip. You don’t have to take it. It will take regular tapwater as well as filtered water. I just find it easier to clean with distilled water and a cleaner taste to my tea with distilled water.

Great Kettle, But Button Worries Me I'm really happy with this Elite Gourmet kettle so far. It boils water quickly, looks sleek on my counter, and the water level window is super handy. The auto shut-off gives me peace of mind, and the 1.7L capacity is perfect for my family. However, my only concern is the plastic on/off button. It feels a bit flimsy and I'm worried about its long-term durability. It works fine now, but I'm just hoping it doesn't break down after repeated use. Overall, it's a great kettle that does its job well, and I'd recommend it. Just be mindful of the button and treat it gently.

I purchased this for a gift for a very dear friend. He loves it and says it is easy to use and holds plenty of water too. He also says it's quick to boil and keeps hotter longer than his old one. I'm glad I bought it. It shuts off on time and the length of the cord is convenient. Great buy.

This kettle has been great. I takes up very little space in our kitchen counter, where it looks good, and it brings water to a boil in an extremely short time. In addition to using it for coffee and tea, I've also found it to me very handy for sanitizing something quickly, like a dog food or water bowl, without any risk of burning myself.
