Excellent toothbrush as expected ...
The price of the 4100 bounces around everywhere all the time from £35 upwards so if you can get it for around that price, it represents good value for an electric toothbrush. This is my second one, and they do the job. Simple to use (one press at the start for normal vibration or two presses at the start for a bit more vibration) and then a two minute timer starts, with a vibration every 30 seconds until it stops. Brushes last about 3 months but aren't outrageously expensive - I just bought a load to last a few years. Excellent delivery and packaging as usual.

Great toothbrush. Very impressed with the battery life. Much better than the other electric brand I previously bought. Cleans the teeth beautifully. Very quiet. Good value.

A superb toothbrush.
This is an excellent toothbrush, and a quantum leap over my old Philipsone. The design is sleek and modern , yet light and easy to hold. The sonic action is the best I've experienced with an electric toothbrush. It's not especially quiet, but works well. It makes a soft 'bleep' sound if you'repressing too hard, which is a useful touch. The fact it's rechargeable with a USB is very handy as well for when travelling -no clumsy Euro plug adapter required here.It costs a bit more than other Philips models, but I feel it's worth it, especiallywith a longer battery life and additional features.

Very good
This replaced an old Oral B toothbrush which didn't have any indicator of when charging/charged. This is much better and has 2 speeds. Would have been nice to have a plug with it compatible with the USB cable but I've dug out a spare one. Easy to use and charged quickly first time.

Abysmal battery, failed after 14 months
The battery life was never particularly good but did the job with a weekly charge. Now after only 14 months it completely failed mid-brush. It’s dead, it won’t even charge again. RIP toothbrush, I won’t be buying another one of you again.

So glad I invested in a sonicare toothbrush.
This has been game-changing for my dental routine. Instead of brushing hard and pressing too much into my teeth, I allow the brushes to glide over and the vibrations do the rest. I get such a glistening clean effect that I never got from my old electric toothbrush. The battery is fantastic, it can last me upto 4 days with cleaning twice a day. The extra setting is really good and flosses alongside my WaterPik, leaving a really deep clean. It's very good at what it does.I love the fact it's pink, too. Perfect for His and Her's sides of the bathroom, with my fiance's sonicare on the other side of the sink.Great product! Easy to use and incredibly effective. Thank you!

Good quality product with good battery life.
This is the 2nd Sonicare toothbrush, previous one still works but over 5 years old. The fact we bought same brand again tells you how pleased we are. The new brush works better than the older one, so my wife is happy. Good quality product with good battery life.

Easy to use and looks good
This was to replace my previous Phillips Sonic that was over 2 years old and not having much charge left. I love this, great colour and cleans my teeth beautifully. Battery life much better.

Great battery life, best toothbrush hands down
1000% my favorite toothbrush I’ve ever purchased. The battery life is outstanding I think I’ve charged it twice ever. It does a great job of cleaning and the thing stands up to some beating in my luggage while traveling. Plus it’s pink so that’s a plus!

A Report from the Front Lines of Oral Hygiene
Dateline: A Bathroom Sink, Under the Unforgiving Glare of the Vanity Lights. For years, the act of brushing your teeth has been a sleepy, half-conscious affair. A dull, buzzing ritual performed on autopilot before you either face the horrors of the day or collapse into bed. You thought you knew what an electric toothbrush felt like. You were wrong. You were living a lie.I am here to tell you about the Philips Sonicare 4100. And I am here to tell you that it is a different beast entirely. It sits in your hand with a comfortable, substantial heft—a proper tool, not some flimsy, skinny wand. The handle is sturdy, the build quality immaculate. It feels like a serious instrument for a serious job. I applied the paste, brought the brush to my teeth with the casual indifference born of long habit, and thumbed the power button. And was immediately jolted awake by a profound, high-frequency thrum. This was not the gentle back-and-forth of a lesser brush. This was a jump scare. A sudden, powerful hum that felt like I was holding a swarm of microscopic, hyper-caffeinated jackhammers against my teeth. This is the "sonic" part of the name, a technology that vibrates with a speed and intensity that is both shocking and deeply, profoundly effective. You can feel the difference. It's a sensation of being deep-cleaned, of having years of coffee stains and bad decisions power-washed into oblivion. There are smart features, of course. A pressure sensor that gently chides you if you're pressing too hard, a built-in coach to keep you from savaging your own gums. A timer that dutifully guides you through the quadrants of your mouth. The included cap for the brush head is a simple, welcome touch of practical genius. But we must address the one, single, baffling decision that holds this marvel back from pure, unadulterated perfection: the charger. In a world that has finally, blessedly, begun to standardize around the glorious, universal USB-C port, Philips has chosen to tether this futuristic cleaning wand to a proprietary, old-world charging base. It is a strange, frustrating relic, a small annoyance that requires its own dedicated spot on your counter, unable to join the happy family of your other modern chargers.Even so, that one grievance is a whisper in the face of the roaring, high-frequency hurricane of cleaning power this toothbrush provides. The Sonicare 4100 is an impressive, powerful, and brilliantly effective piece of technology. It transforms the most mundane of daily chores into a high-performance event. A five-star champion that will leave your mouth feeling cleaner than you ever thought possible.

Wish I had purchased it years ago
I've been using a manual toothbrush for years. I never felt like I could get my teeth clean enough with them, but I didn't want to shell out the money for a pricey electric toothbrush. After having gum recession from brushing too hard, I decided to try an electric toothbrush out.I bought it for $55, and honestly, I love it so much I would've paid $85 for it. It works great, it's comfortable to hold, super easy to use and it gets my teeth so nice and clean. It makes brushing so much easier, and I love the pressure sensor, it stops me from brushing so hard. The heads are a wee bit pricey to replace, but they only need to be swapped every 3 months, and all of the Philips ones are interchangeable. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and only had to charge it once so far. I love the pink colour, and I love that it doesn't have any nooks or crannies to trap water and grow mold like toothbrushes 15 years ago had. Highly recommend, it's the best purchase I've made all year.
