Works well and makes lots of smoke

I love to cook out on my pellet smoker/grill and if you like the REAL smoke taste get you one of these Flip Smoker Boxes. The Cameron Flip Box is easy to use and you can place your favorite pellets/wood chunks (small) into the box and light it up. It will provide the great smoke taste if you use your fancy pellet grill or if you prefer use it on your propane grill to add that wood flavor to what ever you are cooking. The Flip can also be used to cold smoke your favorite foods. The box is made of quality material and is sturdy. If you own a pellet grill this is a must have to add to the smoke taste to your food. I just bought a pellet grill and I bought this smoke box to add smoke. I put three charcoal briquettes across the bottom and when they are hot from using a tumbleweed, I put small chunks of wood over the coals. I read that this gives good quality smoke because the charcoal gets so hot. I was surprised how much smoke came out of that small box.

This completes my pellet smoker. Much better than the smoking tubes I tried. Gives the closest results to a stick smoker. Excellent smoke flavor.

I used it one time & had to throw it away. All of spot welds broke loose and the (bent) legs came off. I wish I hadn’t wasted $34.

I have other smoker boxes that work good, but this one allows for so much reversibility. It has more volume than other boxes which allows you to put about 3 bricks of charcoal in it, light them and add the wood chips on top. You can also use it with or without the stand so you can use the BBQ flame to ignite it. I put an aluminum pie plate under it and ignite with fire starters, the plate keeps all the ashes from dropping into the bottom of your grill. Overall a great product for the price, if I found this first I would not buy any others.

love to use this smoking box

Hard to keep burning. I had hoped to use this in my pellet grill with a chunk of charcoal and a couple of wood chunks but unfortunately the charcoal keeps going out with the lid on and with the lid off I get full flames. Kinda pointless and expensive for what works out to be a smoke tube.
