So far seems good. I don’t even need to use ducking with this. I have it connected directly to the in-line fan and this just sits right on top of the tent. My set up is so small and this is such lightweight. It works great. It doesn’t prevent airflow issues. It doesn’t stop the suction from the exhaust fan. The degree of pressure that comes out is the same. It’s just filtered which is ideal for gardening and I was surprised that the function for how inexpensive this was I definitely recommend it.

Bought a few of these. Simplified grow setup. Definitely takes odors out of the air. I use one to purify my camp cabin air now

I bought this on sale for $39 bucks. It was well packaged and arrived damaged free. I was a bit surprised by the bulky weight of this carbon scribber, but in my mind that is a good thing, if it were light as a feather I would have been a bit concerned. The carbon scrubber was covered in a light dusting of charcoal so I decided to plug the fan in in my garage and crank it on high for about a half hour. When I was finished I dampened some paper towels and wiped down the carbon scrubber and then dried it. After that I placed the filter over the scrubber, and it was good to go. Moves air, does it's job.

Works good I like it it’s a little heavy but it’s literally a filter so can’t be that bad if you have a quality tent easy to use you slide the cloth over it and connect it to a fan

I bought this to use with a dry herb vaporizer indoors to eliminate the smell. I’m using it in a 10x12 room with the fan pulling across the surface area of the filter, with the fan blowing up towards the ceiling. I set the fan to about 60% and sit next to the filter with my noise canceling headphones (the volume isn’t awful but it can be annoying). I blow the vapor into the filter directly. Where this really works great is when you need to grind flower. Even CBD flower at 3%+ terpene content will completely destroy the room and outside hall unless I use this at the desk next to my grinder. I have to keep my room HEPA air filter running or when I switch it on after a big session or several sessions the room gets foggy and the HEPA filter works overtime. Obviously this carbon filter isn’t designed to filter contaminants, only smells, so it’s working as designed. Just something to keep in mind. I do not smoke so I have no idea how well it may work with combusted smoke vs. vapor. I think I can probably make this way more efficient using a half-open box so it draws the air in better from the side facing me, which may allow me to be able to reduce the fan speed and improve efficiency. I am playing with using activated carbon foam rolls made for AC window units and furnace filters as a pre-filter to increase the lifespan. They’re thin enough that they don’t seem to increase air resistance and super easy to cut to length and replace.

This worked perfect rite out of the box and into the tent! MELONFARM FOR THE WIN! Brought temps down in my veg and clone side of the tent perfectly has a prefilter on it just haven't put it on as of yet. For the fan it self it works great has a great adjustment knob that you can change the speed of the fan to suit your needs. On full blast it is just a touch loud but it is manageable to deal with. all in all this is well worth the money! by the way this one is good for a 2x2 or 3x3 at max. hope this helps anyone in the fence about buying one. i know im getting the larger 6in for sure when i need a new filter on the other side of my tent! :)

We bought a whole new set up on Prime Day in July and purchased this as an extra filter to have on hand when that one was ready to be replaced. Put this one on a couple days before Christmas because the other one had reduced air flow after 6 months of use. Big mistake. This thing absolutely does not scrub the air at all. We had odor in the room it was used in and mildly even in the hallway and stairwell. We couldn't get it to go away. Never had an issue before. It's the new filter. Useless garbage. And past the return window because I bought it on sale on Prime day. Never again will I try an on sale off brand. It didn't save me any money at all.

Very solid unit. Controller works great. Quiet and powerful. I had it running nonstop for a month and no issues.
