So amazing! Have on auto ship!! I had gotten a box with some dryer hay my bunnies wouldn’t eat and they were so helping and so kind and sent a replacement. 10/10 customer service and amazing product! I’ve had on auto ship for almost 2 years and only have had one box with issues!

When I first got my bunny as a baby I was feeding him alfalfa hay along with other veggies and a few pellets - he was already eating regular food. The thing with the alfalfa hay is that he was picking out the softer stuff and leaving behind the "sticks", so when it came time to invest in hay my first purchase from SPS was 3rd cutting because it is "softer" - so I bought the 40lb box. I have done farm work in the past and I know about hay. My first impression was of how there was so much brown and so little green. I thought that would change as I used the hay but it didn't change much, and it turns out as an adult my bunny preferred the crunchier stuff. That wasn't a problem because there was plenty of crunchy stuff, but then we came to the last 1/3 of the box, which was all shreds, fluffy stuff and dusty stuff. I needed to buy more hay, and now knowing he prefers the crunchier stuff, I chose to purchase the 25lb box of second cutting from SPS. Wow! It was like night and day! 100% green, highly compressed (the top of the box was bulging when I got it) and the bunny absolutely loves it and is now eating more hay. I didn't even keep going with the old box, and I think this 25lb box is going to last longer than the bigger one! I have nothing to complain about with my purchase of second cutting, and have since found out that most bunnies are fed second cutting unless they are older and need softer hay, or picky eaters. The thing I know about 3rd cutting is that it is the one MOST affected by summer - whether there are dry conditions and for how long, etc. This product came perfectly packed, UPS dropped it a day early, and the quality of the hay is top notch. I will probably stick with this brand and second cutting now for the foreseeable future, and would recommend Small Pet Select.

I have been purchasing Pet Select hay for years. Ive tried so many brands. The quality has been consistent and, every rabbit i have had, eats this with no issue. Other brands are hit and miss if they will eat them or keep eating them.

I’m very happy with this purchase. It is going to last a while because it is condensed in the box. I filled up a huge tote to be taken outside for my rabbit, filled up half of the large guinea pig cage 3 times and you can barely tell it has been used. I don’t have any idea how they got it packed so tightly but I’ll be checking out more products from this company. And the best part, judging from how much has been eaten in 12 hours, they all love it. It smells fresh and is so green. I haven’t noticed any dirt in it. Cage bottom doesn’t have any dirt in it. I’ll be subscribing for auto delivery as soon as I determine how long this box lasts. Thanks for a wonderful product!!

I have ordered the 2nd Cutting Timothy Hay for several months now. I ordered this brand and another one that was more stalky/high fiber cut. I kept ordering both because all of our rabbits and our guinea pig liked both of them, eating more of one first sometimes and then the other. But they cleaned both of them up. Very happy and glad I could give Variety to the animals too. BUT the past two 25 lb boxes of this hay I received were not as good as previous boxes. I just opened the most recent box after we ran out, and a lot of the hay is brown and it's all REALLY dusty. My rabbits are hungry but they are barely touching it. That is a first for me where they just refuse to eat it... I don't know what happened but this month I wasted my money and will have to go find a local farmer with a bale of hay or go to a feed store. Searched for other brands and will be ordering then instead for now. This company says "100% satisfaction guarnteed" in the listing and to contact them with problems... I searched all over and cannot find any 'contact us' info. That irritates me SO much!! If they respond to this review, I will update it and may consider ordering again. Very disappointed and frustrated right now!
