I have purchased the Satyaveda Black Henna 1.0 (1+1 box) around six times and even had it on subscription because I trusted the product based on the listing description and images. Recently, I checked the physical box more carefully and noticed that there is no GMP certificate mentioned anywhere on the packaging, even though the product description image on the Amazon page shows it. On reading the ingredients list, I also realised this is not 100% organic as I had assumed. The formula contains SLS, resorcinol, sodium sulphite, EDTA and barium peroxide, which I would have preferred to see highlighted more clearly in the main description before reordering. As a regular and previously loyal buyer, this was disappointing because I relied on the listing to match the actual packaging and ingredient profile. I have now cancelled my subscription and will not be placing further orders unless the brand updates both the packaging and the listing so that certifications and ingredients are communicated accurately and consistently. For other customers: if you specifically want a fully organic henna with no synthetic additives, please read the ingredients on the box carefully before using, instead of relying only on the product images and title.
